Built for Durability
This machine is very small making it a perfect choice for tight quarters. It also came with the hoses to connect it to a sink if necessary. Despite its small size, it can still hold a full size load of laundry due to the open design (not center agitator). I fit a queen sized quilt in the machine, amazingly. It also has a glass top that folds, which I love. The digital keypad is very thorough for water level, temperature, type of load (eg. delicate, heavy, etc.) but very intuitive and easy to use. It has a digital timer in minutes to tell you how your setting choices will affect the time it takes to complete the washing. The settings can be locked/unlocked at your will. There is also a pause/stop button that allows the lid to open to add more items, or just pause to shower, etc. Very happy!
This machine is trash. It is not intended for everyday use. I have had it about 2 months and it is only doing about 2 loads a week. It already broke. I have Sears' extended warranty so this washer was a replacement for a $1500 Maytag after i waited 7 months for Sears to repair that one. Needless to say, they have left me waiting twice to fix this one. Do NOT purchase anything from Sears. And don't get the extended warranty- there are other warranties in the market that are much better. No wonder Sears is going under!!!
A few weeks ago I bought this top loaded washer to replace a Kenmore portable washer that I bought twelve years ago. I am very happy with my recent choice. I also bought an extended warranty plan. The 44422 models have up-to-date features that are great. There is no way that you would not be very pleased if you decide to purchase this washer.
Very nice washing machine. Just enough for my apartment. It fits and rolls right into my walk in closet.
Just purchased this washer and am very pleased. Easy to understand features, compact and quiet. Love it.
The wash cycle isn't rough on clothes and rinses well, leaving them soft and clean. The only noticeable negative is an oily, auto brake fluid smell from the machine that seems to transfer to the clothes. I hope this smell dissipates with time. I have switched to liquid detergent instead of the mineral washing I use and that seemed to lessen the smell. I also used a dryer sheet instead of the mineral dryer eggs and that seemed to help.
