I love my new cooktop. It looks beautiful against my counter. I particularly like to turbo boil feature. Everything is in great working order. Happy!
Waited over a month to receive the product. Must have had to build-it first in China and then ship-it by slow boat. I believed I was ordering the exact same Kenmore cooktop and size as the one I currently own, but the dimensions are listed incorrectly on Sear's website as 30" x 21.5" IT IS ACTUALLY, 30-?" x 21-?"; therefore, it DID NOT FIT. The installer had to reinstall my old unit and took the new one back with him. From there it got worse….. Now, it could be a coincidence, but when the breakers were turned back on, it blew out the electrical to my water well and I was out of water for three days until it could be rewired. I called the Sears manager in Boise (Preston 'secretary said they did not give out last names', so unprofessional), but he was out-of-town and the assistant manager (Mike 'again no last name') was too busy to talk to me. So, I asked the secretary (Jeri) for the district manager's name-number. The secretary told me the district manager's name was Jan (again no last name), that she was in Denver and that she was NOT allowed to give out her number……The secretary then placed me on hold, but instead hung-up on me. I called back, again hung-up on me. I called back a third time, but my call went directly into a VM. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt that she was not hanging up on me. I tried calling Sears Holding in Chicago……what a joke that was !! I still don't have credit for the unit the installer took back, nor do I have a functioning cooktop and I have a huge bill for my water well rewire. This is NOT the reliable Sears I grew up with!
My 20 yr old cooktop cracked when I dropped a heavy dish on it.
These are hard to replace because white is not in demand.
Found this perfect replacement for less than half price and easily installed it.

I ordered a cook top. May 31st It is now June I still do not have my cook top i call and they say iris on the way it was suppose to at Bakersfield store 20 Of June I went to the store they could not find It I retired from sears I enjoyed my many years there what has happened to customer Service
i still have not recieved this one. they emailed me the day of delivery and said it would be another 10 days to get it . i have had the same one in my other house . works well for the price. i always have shopped sears , but i was severly disapointed in the excuse they gave me the day of delivery. they had to have known before that from the excuse they gave me. i have a family of five and we need a stove top. sears let me down.
I needed this smooth top to replace my coiled cooktop in my recent home purchase. I was happy to find it in white at a more reasonable price from Sears. It arrive promptly as advised and it is perfect.
