It's great if you take care of it

A lot of people don't take care of their cast iron cookware. The instructions state that you have to preseason the exposed lip on the pot and lid before use so that they don't rust. If you do this. Your pot will last years as all cast iron cookware does

Lasted Two Days

This pan is very pretty, but very heavy. When it is full, it is even heavier. The enamel chipped on the inside of the lid the second time I used it, and it has already started to rust in that spot despite me oiling it down with vegetable oil with both used. Also, the enamel turned orange colored when I cooked a pot of beans in it. I am in the process of returning it now and, so far, Sears has been very cooperative with the return.

Excellent Quality Dutch Oven

Kenmore has done it again! This Dutch Oven has extremely thick enamel coating and the Dutch Oven itself is very heavy and well made. I bought the red and blue one. They look very nice atop my kitchen cabinets when I'm not using them.
