My last Kenmore grill lasted 14 years and survived two moves. Unfortunately, it finally rusted and was retired in 2014. Believing in the Kenmore brand, I purchased this item September 2014. It worked beautifully and served as a perfect replacement to my previous Kenmore grill. I've kept the grill covered with a waterproof cover and cleaned it frequently! Surprisingly, last year the firebox started to fall apart from rust and corrosion. This left several small holes and exposed the propane tank to heat. Last month, the holes in the firebox completely gave way, rendering the entire left side of the grill useless, not to mention dangerous. I contacted Sears customer service and was told that my grill is out of warranty, and there is nothing they can or will do. They did offer to have a technician come out to provide an estimate on the repair. Really???? Pay $90 to be told it cannot be repaired and that Sears will not do anything to cover the repair.
