This refrigerator has been installed in my home for a few weeks niw and I love it more everyday. First off, it is beautiful. The stainless is perfect as is the water/dispenser display. It is very quiet, we have only noticed the noise from the ice maker. The regular ice is smaller than our last unit made, I like that I can put more in my cup.The crushed ice feature works great as well and the ice and water taste and look very clean and clear. There is so much room inside, I literally do not have enough food to fill it! I like the drawers in both the refrigerator and the freezer and especially the little pop up top access on the bottom crisper drawer. I like the led lighting inside both sides and on the water dispenser. The water dispenser display shows the temperatures of both the freezer and the refrigerator as well as options for dispensing ice and water. I really have no hard complaints but in the interest of being honest and thorough I will add that the water pressure.is a bit lower than our last refrigerator, so it takes a little longer to fill your cup. Also there is no drain grate under the water dispenser but there is rarely water standing on it.
The fridge is beautiful and spacious, but if your kitchen is close to your living room; DO NOT BUY. The noise began around day 12. I have had 2 techs come look at this fridge. They tightened up the rear panel but the vibration, fluttering, rattling noise still occurs whenever the motor is running. One technician said, this model is light on sound deadening material. As it's now day 31, I am going to demand a refund. No one should have to tolerate this amount of noise for a $1200 purchase.
If I could give a lower score I would. We purchased this refrigerator around January 11, 2019 and our problems started in the middle of March 2019. The electronic board that controls the water and ice stopped working. The motor would not turn off, it just kept running 24/7 and making a loud grinding noise and this continued until a Sears technician came out disconnected it. We have had nothing but problems ever since. It's almost July, and after 5 different visit from the Sears repair team, numerous hours on the phone with the Sears customer services department, 5 different parts shipped to our home, having to take over 10 hours off of work, only for the repairmen to tell us every time that the part was sent to us was either the wrong part or that the new part didn't work, this has happened every time. It was determined by the last repairman that the refrigerator should be replaced and that a supervisor from the customer department would call us to make arrangements for the replacement but as of today, we have yet to hear from a supervisor or anyone from Sears. My husband called Sears today 6/17/19 at 3:30pm EST and was on the phone with them for 2.5 hours. The out come of the call? The scheduled another repairman to come out on 6/2719. We're still getting the run around and that is what inspired me to write this review today.
this fridge was purchased thru the American Home shield Warranty for our older fridge that stopped running correctly, and we have had it since this past December 2018. Its a beautiful fridge, and the lighting and amenities are great. Cant complain about anything. my wife loves the spacious interior, and the fast efficeient icemaker.
What we are now starting to experience is a damp wet smell eminating from out from under the fridge. I immediately thought that there was a dampness drain tray under the fridge like our last one, but no, there is no way to check it due to there is no access point to get under the firdge to check. There is no water leakeages detected, so we are busting our chops trying to find out whats the problem. The directions do not show anything on the troubleshooting pages.
