Stock Up on Groceries
This slim Kenmore side-by-side has 21 cu. ft. of capacity, great for fitting in groceries for the family, pre-made meals and leftovers.
Flexible Fridge Storage Options
Adjustable easy-to-clean shelving, bins and clear crisper drawers give you plenty of options to stock your fridge just the way you like it. A humidity-controlled crisper drawer keeps produce fresh and accessible while the deli drawer is perfect for stashing snacks, lunch meat and cheeses.
Better In-Door Storage
Gallon-sized door bins, a dairy shelf and tall item accommodation make grabbing commonly-used items quick and easy. Everything has a place in your fridge, even tall wine bottles and wide juice jugs.
Ice & Water at Your Fingertips
The in-door Dual Pad ice and water...
First side-by-side refrigerator we have found to fit with-in our cabinets. Does a great job. Just what we needed...will take a little time to adjust from regular refrigerator with freezer on top.
The refrigerator looks nice but the inside capacity is smaller than I expected. I can make do with that, the problem began when I saw a roach in my home--unclear the how/why but killed it no big deal. Again we began seeing roaches and trying while spraying cleaning still trying to figure out where they are coming from. In September when I went to change the wate filter, roaches poured out of the compartment. I cannot even begin to say how FURIOUS I AM about this. While purchased this item brand new, I am not sure if it was refurbirshed, did this come from a Sears or a Kenmore warehouse. For that reason, I will not be purchasing from either again; I wish that I could post the pictures that I took and had to call an exterminator to come in because not realizing that the roaches were in the area of the motor and now desparatley trying to keep it contained and because it's my kitchen were I cook....I will NEVER, NEVER comeback.
When my Frigidaire side-by-side of 18 years shorted out and burnt up electrically, I was very limited in choice by size and color. I only wanted bisque, as I detest stainless and black appliances, and we were going to ultimately paint our cabinets a very pale cream, so white would not work. Our space is less than 36" wide and less than 68.5" tall, also very limiting factors when picking a refrigerator. We probably had no more than three choices in all from the stores from which we could order. We went w/Kenmore, bought in 12/14 and as of 3/19 it stopped cooling. Everything seems to work, husband did all the tests the troubleshooting suggested. Electrical board tested fine, all lights and fans appear to work, so we assume the compressor went bed. We did a lot of research and the LG compressors have performed so poorly in these refrigerators that there was actually a class action lawsuit filed. With so many consumers having the same problem w/these compressors failing, I'm at a loss as to why the lawsuit was dismissed. Just our luck. Replacing the compressor costs several hundred dollars (local repair shop actually told me $800). So, just decided to scrap this basically new, not a scratch on it refrigerator and order a new one. New one is NOT going to be a Kenmore, going w/Whirlpool this time AND bought the extended warranty so we'll be covered for 5 years. That being said, I'm guessing it will probably last 6 years.
This is by far the loudest refrigerator I have ever owned. It is incomprehensible that this appliance was released to the public. The first one was so loud I had Sears replace it thinking it was a lemon, but the new one IS JUST AS LOUD. Can I get a new one on the 30-day guarantee? I guess I am going to find out! DO NOT ORDER THIS REFIGERATOR UNLESS IT IS GOING IN YOUR GARAGE LOL
Refrigerator does not have movable shelves so a lot of items need to be stored in the door.
It is also a little bit noisy.
I bought it 6 month ago and it still works like a refrigerator ... no complaints
It is a noisy product, both compressor and ice maker...my yes recommendation below is with reservations.
