Several reviews on this product are actually reviews about disappointing customer service. The product itself is fantastic. Not the quietest refrigerator but for the money I’m beyond pleased. BTW, my customer service experience was great! To save money I opted for anytime delivery on Saturday. They called me Friday night and said delivery would be between 12-2. They called me Saturday morning and said it would be 12:30. At 12:28 they showed up. Install was fast and efficient. 5 stars all around!!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! DO NOT BUY!! Wow, I wish I would have read these horror stories before ordering my refrigerator from Sears. I was told my fridge would be delivered today and even paid the additional fee to have it delivered in the 8am - 10am time slot. So today is the day, received my confirmation text last night, took off work, cleaned the house, removed all of my food from the old fridge and put everything in coolers. 9am rolls by and I decide to call and check status of delivery. The customer service rep tells me that there was a problem in transit and there is no refrigerator being delivered today!!!! He was very unapologetic and chipper in telling me! I received no phone call telling me this, and it took my calling them to find out this information. After requesting to speak with a manager I'm put on hold for 30 minutes to receive the same non-chalant NON-ANSWER. Somebody at some point will contact me!!! WHAT???!!! Things happen, I would understand if I received a phone call last night or **** even today....but you let me believe my delivery was scheduled and probably would have never called me. Oh and by the way today is my birthday, THANKS FOR RUINING MY DAY SEARS. I'm considering canceling my order and ordering from ANY of your competitors at this point!
we purchased the fridge and noticed the water line was dripping down the front of the door. it took over 1 mth just to get them to replace it, they brought out new one still leaks after dispensing water, and the tech damaged our floor and both the old and new fridge. after nearly 20 yrs of buying kenmore i am exhausted and may never buy another product from sears again. u call 800 and get people overseas that can communicate or understand english language like we do. 2 tech failed to open a case within their depart which caused the warranty to refuse replacement. i had to write corporate letters and it was only then i was able to resolve the problem. problem reported in july and the replacement will hopefully come in the first week of nov.
The fridge side is ok - the height of the main shelves are not adjustable. The freezer is way to narrow and deep - you must not be claustrophobic in order to use because you have to reach into that narrow space. Freezer space is not efficiently used. One of the shelves in the freezer is missing the edge fence so we can’t use the shelf.
The compressor is noisier than our previous 14 year old Kenmore.
It seems to be doing the job of keeping things cold.
