Three dented fridges

First delivery dent in side of fridge. Called for a replacement Second fridge was delivered with a dent in the bottom door. Deliveryman swapped door from old fridge with door from new fridge. Door did not fit. Third fridge was delivered with a dented top door. Deliveryman swapped door from seond fridge with door from new fridge. I had to take time off works three times. Asked for a specific time on third attempt. Customer service were very unhelpful accommodating this request.

Good buy

|

Does the job we needed it to do. Also it’s a good buy for first time renters. Does not take up that much space also easy to clean.

Hope you have a strong back...

I bought this a month ago and I honestly miss my old junky fridge. This new refrigerator is loud and very low to the ground. The 2 vegetable drawers are so low to the ground you need to be able to touch your feet to get anything out. Probably the worst thing about it is the door has a plastic part that drags against the inside of the refrigerator preventing the door from swinging all the way closed. You have to SLAM it shut each time or it will stay ajar and waste energy. I had a narrow space and this was one of the few options I found in the 28” category, but this fridge is aweful!

Questionable quality

|

The freezer had an air leak from day 1 resulting in water collecting inside the freezer and inadequate freezing of freezer contents. The freezer door seal was replaced under warranty, however, the magnetic seal on the replacement was so poor that the freezer door would not stay closed! Is this Kenmore quality? Does not bode well. Don't want to keep this fridge.
Update 9/18/2018: freezer seal replaced second time but new seal has a defect, so third one ordered!! Called customer service; routed to an obviously Filipino call center where I had great difficulty communicating and got bounced around from one section to another, eventually coming full circle with zero resolution. Called corporate office: learned the true meaning of the word "rude"! First operator cut me off mid sentence and routed me to an automated system! Second operator hung up on me!! Third try, got the first operator again and he was in an even worse mood!!! Started yelling at me! Called the store where I first checked out the fridge. Appliance manager promised to look into it and get back to me. Still waiting, and don't expect a call. I want to exchange for another fridge like GE even if costs more but no one interested in helping me. I treat my trash better than Sears treats its customers. How can this company stay in business???
