Small Footprint, Plenty of Space
This top freezer fridge has 18 cu. ft. of interior space, perfect for stocking up on snacks, leftovers, lunches and soft drinks for the home or office.
Organization Done Your Way
Full-width adjustable glass shelves and 2 clear plastic crisper drawers give you tons of interior organization options. Slot delicious leftovers right next to lunch bags and other groceries, and stash crisp produce in the humidity-controlled crispers. No more puzzling out how to fit all that food in the fridge.
It's All in the Doors
Ladder-style gallon door bins make it easy to store tall items and beverages alongside staple sauces, dressings and other ingredients. Tall item accommodation on the bottom shelf means more space for bottles of wine and water, and less time spent trying to shove things wherever they’ll fit.
Free Up the Freezer
No more digging through a pile of frozen foods for that bag of peas. This Kenmore frost-free top freezer...
We've had this refrigerator four months now. Because several reviewers knocked it for cooling issues, I got a couple of refrigerator thermometers at the home store and placed them in the fridge and freezer. They are showing 33-38 degrees in the fridge and 0-10 in the freezer. A couple of times, we did not close the door completely and that is when the temp went up. When we caught that, problem solved. I believe this is what is causing the poor reviews. As for the noise, it is a bit louder than some on initial start up when the compressor kicks on but that only lasts a few moments. All told, I believe this is an excellent appliance especially considering the price.
DO NOT BUY THIS -- YOU'LL BE MISERABLE 1. It is noisy. Not just once in a while -- there is a constant hum. I don't think I have heard a refrigerator this noisy since the 1960s. 2. What cruel joke are the designers playing on us? Your options for "adjustable shelves" are just plain lame. The spacing is so big that you either have shelves right next to each other or a big gap in between -- But not big enough to fit a standard bottle of white wine or champagne standing up. The door options don't fit a bottle of wine standing up either. 3. There is a layer of ice building up on the freezer for some unexplained reason 4. The freezer door does not close securely. Gone is my peace of mind of just shutting the door. I have to be adamant about double checking. (so far I have not left the freezer door ajar but I fear it is going to happen.) DO YOURSELF A FAVOR...FIX YOUR OLD REFRIGERATOR. This refrigerator is a lemon. I wish I read the comments before I bought it.
It great so far. Service and Delivery was great. Delivery people were just great and friendly
We bought this fridge for an extra fridge in the garage. The size is perfect and it is good for what we want to use it for. I can't speak to the quality yet except to say that I have had many kenmore appliances and they have always performed very well.
We purchased this refrigerator after talking with a Sears representative who told us it would work in the garage. We live in a cold climate state where the winter temperature in the garage is usually below 35°F. This refrigerator's freezer does not work in that situation. We have been trying to exchange it for three weeks with no progress. Talking with customer service means speaking to their team in the Philippines and we have not resolved our issue yet! If you're buying this for an extra unit in your garage, do not do it.
The handle on the freezer will drive me nuts. When I use the bottom shelves of the refrigerator, the freezer door is closed. As soon as I begin to stand up, the freezer door handle whacks me in the head. The handle edge is sharp, and it really hurts.
