I bought this fridge to replace my old garage fridge. It's perfect as a 2nd fridge and I'm happy I upgraded from wire to glass shelves. So much easier to place items on the shelf and not have them falling over. The difference in price was minimal. The delivery was great. The guys were efficient and were able to quickly change to door to open the other side. Others have complained about the noise and I admit it's in the garage but the first few time I went into the garage I had to open the door to check if it was running properly because it was so quiet. I'm very happy with this purchase.
This thing is incredibly loud. It sounds like a diesel tractor running in my kitchen!
Perfect purchase for a garage fridge. No bells or whistles but that's what was needed.
I bought a GE fridge from home depot, took 3 wks to deliver it, the quality was budget, wire shelves, really basic, but it cost over $500. The freezer kept icing up, GE failed to provide service, so I returned it to home depot. Then I bought a kenmore from Sears.com. got it delivered in less than a week, glass shelves, really a beauty, for $80 less than the GE. Next time, I'll just call Sears!
