Fridge review

Love the fridge but it's just missing the oblong shelf inside the door that my old fridge had. It fit a dozen size egg carton perfectly. The crisper drawers now open much more smoother than old Kenmore. They don't jiggle when you slide them open. Nice! Also fridge is MUCH more quieter when the motor/compressor kicks on.

Good refrigerator

The refrigerator is nice but two of the plastic bins inside that attach to inside refrigerator door were cracked when we received it. I tried calling to replace these parts but haven't been able to yet as I get transferred from one rep to another without any progress.

FREEZER DIDN'T WORK FROM DAY ONE - 4 months later still not working

|

The freezer didn't work properly from day 1. Their service repair system was down for 3 weeks before I could get an appointment. Tech replaced the seal and the freezer got worse...Ice hanging everywhere. Having the experience of being put through 5 people before getting an answer and having to constantly repeat the story because notes didn't get put in the system. Finally being told they are sending me authorization to get a replacement (sounds more like an authorization amount to order the one I want). We shall see how that works out.

Sears is not the one we used to know - terrible

|

First delivered a defected one, and then without try re-delivering a new one, instead asked me to cancel the order even I told them no.

Service

|

The refrigerator itself is probably not that bad but when I received it (from day one) the seal was defective around the freezer which caused condensation. I called to get a service appointment and their service call system was down so they could not schedule someone to come out. It took me over a month to finally get someone scheduled. The tech came out, placed the order and 6 weeks later I still do not have a seal because they are on back order.

NOT happy customer.

|

Very unhappy with this purchase! The fact that the refrigerator didn't work properly for the first 6 weeks is NOT the worse part. Specifically, when calling customer service to get support on 7/5, I had the opportunity to speak with the supervisor named Trish. Having the experience of being put on unannounced hold or hung up on was both aggravating and frustrating.
