This machine is terrific. It is no more noisy than my side by side was nor does it take any longer to do a wash cycle. Read the manual to learn to pause the washer if you want to add detergent or more clothes. The express cycle is wonderful for a small quick load. The rinse and spin cycle is there to add liquid softener after the initial wash and rinse is finished. The notification sound for completion of the wash cycle and the end of the dryer cycle are very helpful and not to soft or too loud.
We were so excited to replace our old stackable with this brand new unit! Unfortunately we’ve had nothing but problems with the dryer.... it will not stay on and is continuously giving us nightmares!!!
Worked great for a year then broke. The washer would not spin. Another thing with a in even load the washer would stay locked for hours not allowing you to fix the problem
Where do I start with this laundry center? If you're going to wash any towels or sheets you're going to have a problem. It does not have just a spin cycle to spin out extra water.. It gets off balance and is wicked loud even with mid sized loads. The door lock's periodically and then you can't unlock its so you're stuck unable to get access to your clothing. This is only good to wash lightweight clothing in small amounts. Not to mention I bought an extended warranty for it and it was in my Hair Salon doing to loads of small amounts of towels twice A-day and it was so noisy they called for warranty assistance and when the guy came out mind you they've had it a month he told me the warranty was no longer going to be honored because it was in a commercial environment. Joke
Purchased to replace old Kenmore stack unit I loved and had for nearly 20 years. This new system has a completely offensive safety "Nanny" button locking system which has negated the usefulness of this machine from start to end. In short ....Kenmore has "Safety Nannied" this machine into complete uselessness. right down to wasting 1-3 minutes of your time standing waiting for the door to unlock AFTER the cycle is complete. Some of us actually still have brains enough to not put our hands into spinning tubs and don't want nor need this goofiness inhibiting the wash customization experience...... If this is you... DONT BUY THIS MACHINE. You will be sadly disappointed as even my electrician husband could not bypass this designed "dummy' button. One cannot do anything other than stand by to wait to open a tub only to find items still soiled with inability to manually work the load to cleanly satisfaction. One may only wait to open to find you must instead press the start button again and again . This machine has been COMPLETELY Re-DESIGNED TO BE A HAND HOLDER and USELESS PIECE OF JUNK. Disappointed. and now buying a MAYTAG after 20 years of Kenmore.
I'm writing in regards about the delivery service. This washer and laundry was to be delivered to my address today. They gave me a time frame to which they never showed up or called within that time frame until an hour and 10 minutes. After they didn't showed up nor called within the time frame I had to go do an errand- that's when they showed up. No-one called to say we're sorry we're running late. I then had to call Sears-mind you it took 30 minutes to speak to someone, I told them what happened and they apologized and said the delivery person will come back and deliver the product. Two hours after and no delivery nor phone call to say they're not coming. I had to call again and they apologize and had to reschedule. I would never use Sears service again bye.
