Great product, Great price and Extra large capacity

Dry your everyday clothes faster the size of the inner tub is huge. Our old dryer was a large capacity and it would dry our king comforter but It would take twice the amount of time. Save yourself time and electric with this unit it's a energy star approved product.

DON'T SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNED!

I bought this dryer with matched washer in October 2015 and I while I’m not as dissatisfied with the dryer as the washer I wouldn’t buy either or Kenmore brand again. The dryer shouldn’t be considered an “Energy Star.” The question should have crossed my mind when I was looking at it as to why there would be an option button for “energy saving.” Unfortunately it didn’t. I can tell you that the dryer runs 3 times longer for large loads, you know the kind this dryer was made for, when you choose that option. So, I’m not real sure what the savings is because it’s not operating time. The wrinkle guard setting is for the birds. Yes, it turns on and tosses the laundry every so often, but again, with the larger loads it really doesn’t work. Finally, the lint cup doesn’t catch everything or ever close to it. A good load of towels is more than it can handle. While not as disappointing as the matched washer, by no means would I consider it energy efficient. Again, I will say Kenmore should offer to buy this back from me because I have nothing positive to say about it and have no problem sharing my view.

Great design and size

|

Musical buttons could be a bit much but I'm sure its to help people enjoy laundry. Size really is huge, my tall 10 year old climbed in to see how big it was when it arrived. She could fit a blanket and pillow with her no problem. The large lint trap is probably the best design I've ever seen. Double sensors really adjust time on dryer if it's drying faster.

Last only 2yrs!

I bought 2 sets of these, couple months later sears come in to replace the door switch on the washer, since then problem come after problem. now the washer works on its favor! The dryer started having problem about a year after the purchased date. It seems like Kenmore are dying along with sears!

Is a large capacity dryer worth it?

|

This is supposed to be a large capacity dryer.--- A lot fits inside, but some small loads don't completely dry even at the top settings. Then if you try to run them again, the dryer shuts off after about 5 minutes. The only choice then is to try "touch up," but that doesn't always finish drying the load. To get everything out, I have to put my head inside the dryer to reach all the way to the back.
With large items, every time the dryer stops I have to turn the item over to dry another area. This is not what I expected with this dryer! I thought a large capacity dryer would DRY large capacities. BEWARE!

Excellent product and service

|

I purchased a high capacity washer and dryer combo, which are absolutely awesome. The removal of my old front loader set, and install was done quickly and at the scheduled time.
I'm very happy with the product and service!
