Enough Space for the Groceries
This Kenmore fridge has 19 cu. ft. of interior space, great for storing household groceries and leftover with some room to spare for treats.
Fridge Organization Done Your Way
Full-width adjustable spill-proof shelves and 2 crisper drawers give you near-limitless interior organization options. Keep delicious leftovers right next to lunch bags and other groceries and stash crisp produce in the humidity controlled crispers. No more trying to puzzle out how to fit food in the fridge.
Better In-Door Storage
Adjustable door bins make it easy to store tall items and beverages alongside staple sauces, dressings and other ingredients. Tall item accommodation means more space for bottles of wine and water; no more needing to shove things wherever they’ll fit.
Smarter Freezer Organization
No more digging through a pile of frozen
I needed a smaller refrigerator for my kitchen and this one fit the bill perfectly. It looks great and has adjustable shelves; (2 glass) inside and (three plastic + cheese/butter compartment) on the door. The only downside for me is that this model does not come standard with an ice maker. I was disappointed with Sears in that their online reps could not easily find the optional ice maker part #. After my persistence with a couple of calls to different reps and being transferred, someone was finally able to locate the correct part (#: W10261234). I mean Kenmore is a Sears brand right? Why so difficult?! The refrigerator is very quiet and I like that it also has a light in the freezer compartment. As mentioned in another review, the sides and top is grey not the usual black you see with most stainless steel appliances. It looks great in my kitchen!
Sears says it's stainless steel yet it rusts just over two months old. Other stainless owned for 40 years still not rusted. Says rust is my problem and not covered. Other than rusted stainless steel, decent fridge it would seem.
I bought a Kenmore 6931 bottom-freezer refrigerator in early August 2017. After 15 months it does not cool anymore. I called Sears on 11/10 for repairing. They said the earliest a technician could come would be 12/8. I had to hire an appliance service firm today 11/12. The eletronic control board had to be replaced. It cost me $400.
The refrigerator itself is fine. I was fine with the swing door on the freezer and the pull-out bin. However, half of the freezer storage is a shelf over the pull-out bin that does not slide (or if you attempt to slide it, it slides all the way out to the floor). You have to get on your knees and reach in to access the food. This is unacceptable in a bottom freezer.
So we bought this May 2017, and of course the warranty just expired since Kenmore only covers a year.
Our fridge just BLEW UP, like legit sparks and flames and then I saw that there is a hole in the back of where the engine is. I am so happy I was home! This is beyond dangerous, I have scheduled a repair, but I don't even know if it is salvageable. Stay away!!
Beware the doors will rust tried everything will not come off
