I originally bought a Whirlpool fridge from Sears that was similar in size and color to this Kenmore. The Whirlpool was so noisy! Luckily Sears was very accommodating and wanted to make me happy so i exchanged it for this Kenmore. This Kenmore is awesome! it is so quiet and has features the Whirlpool did not have for about the same price. I love this Kenmore.
Sears says it's stainless steel yet it rusts just over two months old. Other stainless owned for 40 years still not rusted. Says rust is my problem and not covered. Other than rusted stainless steel, decent fridge it would seem.
This has been the worse refrigerator I have ever purchased. Heating element for the defrost doesn't work, Sears has been of no help. This unit is going to the scrap yard!
From start to finish, this transaction has been a headache. Cancelled deliveries, issues with rescheduling, customer service phones calls that were promised but never received, rewards points that were promised as a lump sum but then delivered in an manner that will get doled out in $10 increments over a matter of months. I've wasted hours on the phone with Sears Customer Service Representatives with no resolution. I've spent $2,000 on appliances with them, and they have made it clear that they have no qualms with losing a customer over $100 that was promised by their own customer service representative. Such a shame.
I don't care what the product is; I would shop with caution. The level of customer service is pretty terrible.
Just was we needed at the fridge designated for the garage. Odd though, with only a few bottles of soda in it we need to set it to the highest cold setting to meet the correct temperature for cold. Have placed two temperature gauges in it. Have had it less than a week.
I purchased this refrigerator in March of 2017 and the refrigerator portion has had to be repaired twice. I will probably sell this refrigerator and buy a different brand.
Ordered a Refrigerator and dishwasher on line and was given the opportunity to choose delivery time and date online and the call came the night before it was to be delivered and they would not give the time I have chosen online when I went ahead and took a early time out for work so I could be here. spoke to a supervisor and she was not willing or she said she could not move my time for that delivery so I cancelled the order and /sears just lost a large sale from me.... very disappointed in there customer service
