Great Refrigerator

Love the size of this refrigerator. Plenty of room. My only concern is that the ice maker makes hollow ice cubes, which tend to dissolve quickly. Overall I am completely satisfied.

Roomiest 30 inch wide fridge I've ever seen

|

I have a 32" wide space for a fridge in my kitchen, so I can't handle anything wider than 30". Had to replace my prior Maytag fridge that I had bought at **********. It only had 17.8 cubic feet of storage space. I was delighted when I found this Kenmore . It has almost 3 more cubic feet of space with the same footprint, and works beautifully. Purchased it by online with live phone assistance. Ordered it Saturday morning. It was delivered and installed Monday. Great service.

Not a Happy Camper

|

I really liked this refrigerator when I first got it - 4 months ago...then I noticed the fridge was not cooling - it was 54 degrees in there, but the freezer still worked... I immediately scheduled service - the next day, I found out the icemaker stopped working. This is not a pricey refrigerator but it wasn't the cheapest one either. My prior fridge was Kenmore (made by Frigidaire) and it lasted 9 years - so I thought I was getting something that would at least last a few years. I am disappointed to say the least... I just hope it can be fixed.

The listed height of this fridge is 2" shorter than is actually is!

|

I've bought my last product from Sears. Like I said, this fridge is 2" taller than it's listing.

Because of that, I could either remodel the space, or have the fridge sit in the middle of my kitchen for 5 days before it could be replaced.

I opted to remodel, but the delivery/install folks couldn't wait around for that, so I got to do the "free" install myself.

I was a bit frazzled, and did not notice that the doors that were supposed to open to the left, as I ordered, had not been flipped.

After 1/2 hour on the phone, I was told it would be 5 days for this to happen. I'd do it myself, but I'm 71, and besides, this was part of the deal.

Called customer service to let them know the listing was wrong, and the hassle it had created. After 45 minutes speaking with someone who I could not understand, it was we're sorry, and you can have 10 bucks off .

No one even cared the listing was wrong.

I would have bought another, better, 20cu" fridge if I had known the real height to the top of the hinge.

I also would have had the space ready for the delivery.

I've been buying appliances at Sears for 40 years, and there has always been some sort of minor problem which was easily worked out.

This was a total boondoggle, with an insulting resolution.

Bye bye sears.

Cheap fridge

You get what you pay for, but I wish the door shelves where designed better, they just pop off with anything over a very small amount of condiment jars. Also, it came with a dent on the side of it straight out of the box and it was not due to the drivers
