A Good Space
There's enough room to fit your favorite foods inside the black Kenmore 20.5 cu. ft. top-freezer refrigerator.
Keep Your Food Organized
This Kenmore refrigerator helps keep produce fresh and organized with humidity-controlled crispers. A clear snack pan offers a convenient place to store lunch meat and cheese. You'll always be able to find food tucked in the back of the fridge with ease, thanks to energy-efficient LED lighting.
Tell Spills to Stay Put
Hate spills dripping from the shelves and on the floor? This refrigerator makes cleanup easy. Keep spills from spreading throughout the fridge with spill-proof glass shelves.
A Dedicated Space For Drinks and Ice
There's space for large containers in the door with gallon door bins so you can keep the drinks in the door instead of on your refrigerator shelves. Need some ice? There's more than enough ice for the whole family with an automatic ice maker.
I love this frig! It is the perfect size for my space and looks great. Plenty of space inside and the ice maker works great. Unfortunately, it took 3 deliveries to get the right one. First the sales person ordered the wrong one. Second arrived with a bad scratch on it. The third was a charm, Perfect!
When our unit was delivered, the hinges were located on the right-hand side, and I had specifically requested that they be on the left, as we open our fridge from right to left. The delivery crew had a most difficult time changing those hinges and took great pains to avoid putting any scratches on the top. As they attempted the changeover, two cheap plastic screws (their words, not mine) broke and remained. Thus, they had to figure out a way to remove those broken parts. They said they had never seen such a thing!! Now that the handles are located on the right, as we originally requested, we have two unsightly depressions on the left-hand sides of our doors, over which my husband and I have placed magnets. Not the best, as I didn't want any magnets, but it's easier on the eye. Now, I need to address the noise factor. The fan itself is running much quieter than the old Amana of nearly 32 years - Yes, I did say 32 years!! However, in addition to the quiet of the fan, there is an annoying, high-pitched hum that is horrid, considering that I already suffer from tinnitus. Fortunately for my husband, his hearing is not the best, so he hasn't even said a thing about it. As we live in a nice, but modest 1,300-square-foot home, this is not something that one can avoid hearing about the house, If this were a basement or garage refrigerator, then it would not matter. I have been saving for this refrigerator for some time by redeeming my Sears points and taking advantage of other Sears credit card offers, so I am really disappointed in the quality of their own Kenmore brand. We, as other people, work hard for what we own, and I can only hope and pray that this noise won't drive me over the edge. I wish I could give a better rating, but this is the way it is, and I do not want others to suffer the same mistake.
Its no wonder Sears is closing stores and working (figuratively) their way toward bankruptcy. Our salesperson was informed we did not currently have a water line for the ice maker so she charged us $100 for the service. Sears subs all their delivery and install services and we were told they would call us to set up the delivery and install. The night before they did call and we were told it would be delivered between 4-6 PM the next day. We received a call at 7:30 AM the day of delivery and were told they would be there in an hour. They showed at 8:30 and no one spoke English. They refused to install the water line (I believe they said..."you need plumber")...they did not remove the protective plastic...and did not install the kick plate at the bottom. they simply plugged it in and pushed it into the hole. We called our Sears salesperson and she apologized and said "I didn't know you didn't already have a water line." What? Why did we pay an extra $100? Her only resolution was to credit us our fee back. She said she found out Sears doesn't add water lines. We had to hire a plumber to finish the job. We have purchased Sears appliances for nearly 30 years but this is the last one...no more...and we'll wait for ****** to start selling Kenmore products after Sears closes their doors for good.
Very nice, I love the light inside the freezer. there is so much room inside it.
Sears did not help me and did not uphold their Marketplace Guarantee. I will not shop with them again.
The refrigerator is nice but the compressor is to noisey and loud very irritating.
We bought this fridge for our garage. It gets the job done, and we have never had any issues with it. The black color looks great in the garage. After 5 years, it still looks and functions like new.
