Handle Issues

Handle came without the set screws. Ordered hardware using Parts Direct diagram. However, sku is wrong -- screws don't fit. Had to scedule a tech who used some screws in his truck. He said the products sent from Sears were coarse cut & too large for the handle holes. Sears needs to address this issues!!

broke on second day

The door has no pull out shelves, but rather storage areas with flimsy plastic pieces to keep the items in place. On the second day of opening the door, the bottom of these fell out and cracked the plastic it was fit into (like a lego piece). What was it holding in? 2 cartons of OJ. What a piece of cheap fridge

It lasted 15 years!

We always like having a separate dedicated freezer and frigerator. And this one was moved from my old house and went 15 years without a single problem, and sometimes moving them can cause them to leak freon.
The coldest I could get it the last days before replacing it was 53 degrees and I knew it was time to retire it. The design and mechanics have not changed since I bought mine. Since I live out in the country, the Sears by me closed, so I ended up replacing it with a Frigidaire.  I was pretty happy it lasted that long, which is about the max life on a frigerator.
