You're probably here because you think Sears has a good reputation for major appliance purchases. Heed my warning when I say they are absolutely garbage to deal with. I purchased not one, but TWO washers and they each would not power on. Even getting someone from Sears on the phone to schedule a repair person is a nightmare, forget about scheduling a return. They will NOT resolve your problem on the phone, the only way to get any kind of resolution is to message them on social media in all caps. Everyone they have answering the phone seems to only want to transfer the call to someone that has nothing to do with the issue you're experiencing.
I actually forgot about leaving this review until I received an email from them asking me to leave a review, which is funny because I returned both the washer and dryer from Sears and instead bought from Home Depot and have had zero issues.
DO NOT purchase major appliances from Sears, don't think that you will be the exception to this because you won't be.
The delivery person did not have the decency to stay to assure the dryer was functioning. IT IS NOT. I have to now wait, again, for a new appliance to be delivered and installed. I am beyond frustrated (had to wait a month for the first delivery) because I asked him to stay until the plumber (who was already here waiting) had a look at the gas line. He said that he could not. I think it's just horrid that they left before completing installation! Now, I'm here with another non-functioning appliance and the delivery person just drove away. JUST AWFUL.
not all that thrilled with this dryer - does not seem to dry towels and blankets even when on the high setting
It���s a dryer and it does everything a dryer needs to do. I would not however recommend purchasing any items from Sears that you need delivered and installed. That experience alone was absolutely horrible and I will NEVER use them again for any household appliances. Delivery arrived to the wrong house, refused to to install and parts ordered and paid for were missing. Called ���customer service��� and was told I���d be refunded. To date no refund for the missing items (over a month now).
