Plenty of Storage
Designed for Your Convenience
Got it today. Replacing our 13 year old Kenmore (RIP). Initially we wanted a bottom freezer with french doors, but our space was an inch to small. So we went back to top freezer and upgraded from 18 to 21 cu. ft. Love the style, in and out side. Plugged it in four hours ago and it is making ice already. Put in an ice cube tray and water was solid within an hour. The compressor is quieter than our last one and I think overall very quiet. I am sensitive to noise. For everything else time will tell how it will perform in our daily use.
Ice maker has not worked since it was installed. The refrigerator also leaks at bottom of refrigerator. We had to wait for over a week for a service tech just to find out if it was the installation or the refrigerator. Now we have to wait almost 3 weeks to get a new refrigerator to replace this one.
All ok but color is darker than expected ... is that the "fingerprint" feature ?
I ordered this fridge online after taking a look at it in my local Sears. Delivery would take a week. Two days before the delivery date I got a recorded call saying I needed to call Sears because there was a delay. I called, got someone in the Philippines who said the delivery would be delayed another 10 days because of a back-up at the manufacturer. I cancelled the order and then ordered the exact same fridge from ****** ($42 more expensive), with delivery in two days. So how is it that ****** can deliver a Kenmore fridge in two days while Sears cannot even deliver its own Kenmore brand in a week? I have been a loyal customer of Sears' appliances and service for many years, but this is more evidence that Sears is on the decline.
