Nice looking and solid construction make this microwave by kenmore a great addition to the kitchen. The concave interior design cooks your food evenly, no more boiling lava hot over here and ice cold over there! One touch buttons and the cook sensor make setting the cook time effortless. Another great product from sears kenmore.
seemed nice until it quit working after 3 days
Loved the product until a few weeks ago. It has started making an awful noise and sparking and smoking whenever we use it. Being forced to purchase a different microwave now. Very disappointed
I bought this model in white which died in 7 1/2 months while still under a 1 year warranty. I have been going back and forth with Sears warranty department, which is under Transformco, which now owns Sears. I had to send pictures of several things including the receipt several times, as they couldn't open them. I call Sears warranty/customer service almost daily, and I am talking to people on the other side of the planet who are powerless to do anything except to send messages to the "offline team". and tell me to check my spam folder. I check my email several times a day including inbox, spam, and trash folder. The warranty dept. supposedly sent me an e-gift card on April 1. It wasn't received, and as of April 20, I am waiting for another to be issued. It has been escalated to the "offline team". I get emails from Sears Customer Solutions, but when I reply, I get an email that the "user's mailbox is full." I got an email from Sears Feedback in response to the last review, but they keep asking me for an Order number, and I told them at least 3 times it is a CASE number, not an ORDER number. It seems I am communicating with a robot.
Bottom line, don't depend on Sears to honor a warranty unless you have a lot of time on your hands and can wait for the product to be replaced.
Always a fan of Kenmore appliances!
