Bring on the Bulky Stuff
This Kenmore gas dryer has an ample 7.0 cu. ft. of capacity, perfect for drying loads of towels, heaping hampers of work and school clothes and even bulky bedding. No more trekking out to the laundromat to use a specialty dryer.
Choose Your Hot Spot
Choose from 4 different heat levels, including Air Dry, to get your clothes and fabrics the right amount of dry. Auto Dry Technology works throughout the cycle to evenly dry each load by monitoring dryness and adjusting temperature and dry times. No more over- or under-dry clothes and towels.
Wrinkle Guard lets you do laundry on your terms by giving a load a quick toss to prevent set-in wrinkles for up to 40 minutes after the dry cycle so you can run errands or take a nap without needing to iron out the laundry.
The website picture of this appliance (72332) shows a digital wrinkle guard button and digit window. It's not on this appliance. Also, I really miss the door opening down (I'd fold my clothes on it) that was on my previous Kenmore dryer.
I purchased this basic dryer to replace a two year old top of the line GE (also purchased at Sears). First dryer decided that it didn't want to dry clothes any longer after three weeks. Sears wanted to fix the dryer, but I demand a new one, as the product was less than three weeks old. Second dryer has made noise from the beginning, appears to have signifigant leveling issues. Sears techs told me, "That's normal." The fit and finish leave a lot to be desired, I believe this product was a possible return. Yesterday, the plastic handle on the dryer door broke off, requiring an additional call to Sears for a replacement handle. Was supposed to have received a confirmation email on my replacement part order, that never showed up in my inbox. For the time being, I'll use my Sears credit card to open the door, because I plan to shred it after this experience. Once the product is out of the one year manufacture warranty, I'll donate it or give it away. There are better basic dryers from competitive brands, take a look around before you buy this one!
Item was great. Delivery was very late. Delivery men walked trough house with wet boots and were not friendly. Showed up late and were not going to hook up dryer. Very disappointed in the customer service . Will not recommend
It’s easy enough to use, but always have to run a second drying time. And that’s on the high setting. The longest you can set it for is 70 minutes. I always have to put it back on for at least another 30 minutes because the load is still damp.
