I like this fridge. Does not dissappoint.

Most people write in because they don't like something. Not true here. I bought this fridge on Memorial Day. Looks beautiful in my kitchen. Replaced a 30 year old still working whirlpool. Don't make em like that today. LOL. I knew I was on my last leg so I replaced it with this fridge. No problems so far. has an app too. It is roomy ...so much space inside. I did't expect that but am pleasantly surprised. I can put a full sheet birthday cake inside no problem. It does have a little draw back in that tall drinks must go on door. Not a big deal though. Door wide enough to hold 1 gal milk, 1 bottle wine and 2 half gals of apple juice. We don't do soda at my house but it would hold a 2 liter as well. I put my water bottles , tea bottles and Gatorade on second shelf left. Sliding shelf allows you to add more tall bottles as well. Love love the 2 freezer drawers. I feel more organized. Veggies etc in the top. Meat in bottom. easy peasy. Finger print proof. Yippee. Get this one. Best price 27 cubic feet of space. Mine works great to date. BTW Sears has the best repair service if you need it. I have used them many times in the past. I also bought dishwasher so all appliances would match. LOL.

Do Not Buy This Product

My refrigerator is only six months old and the computer board has gone out. The part is unavailable and Sears cannot tell me when they will have it. I purchased the extended warranty from Sears and they have refused to replace my unit. Therefore, it will be after the new year before this is resolved. Six weeks without the unit is unacceptable! I would not buy this product from Sears.

I bought a refrigerator from Sears almost 2 years ago but didn't buy the additional warranty. The moment I finished the payment, the refrigerator stopped working. I called Sears, but was told nothing could be done except I get the home warranty, which I agreed and started my payment of $49.99 monthly. I was charged $100 for a technician to come and diagnose the problem which I paid. I was told that I will get $500 coupon to cover cost of repair and I will cover the rest if more. Finally, I was told it will cost $ 900 and I agreed to pay but uptill now they have been tossing me around for about 2 to 3 months. Nothing concrete has been done. I have been without a refrigerator in my house with my children. I kept calling until yesterday when someone picked up my call and said a new refrigerator has been approved for me and the old one would be carted away. She gave me an authorization code ( 7995401703989) to take to the store for a new fridge only to get there and was told it's impossible.
I have gone through **** in the hands of Sears, I'm sure they knew that the product was not reliable and I will not advice anyone to buy their refrigerators. I also think the Sears staff whom I have spoken with are mean and dismissive. They were not willing to work with me to solve the problem.

On June 20, 2018, I bought a Kenmore Model 795-72595-710 refrigerator from Sears, in the Chapel Hills Mall in Colorado Springs. That store has since gone out of business. In August of 2019, the refrigerator quit cooling, it was 14 months old. I contacted Sears, and I didn’t buy the extended warranty from them because I knew Sears was going out of business and the warranty would not be honored.

I did a lot of research, and determined on my own that the compressor was not working. I contacted Sears Appliance Repair, and they told me that the circulating fan was bad. I ordered one and replaced it, still didn’t work. I contacted Sears again and they told me the thermostat was bad. I replaced it, no difference. Now, mind you, each contact with Sears was like trying to draw blood out of a turnip. I was continually re-routed to a different person or department, and would have to start over again. They insisted I needed to have a technician come out and “diagnose” the problem for $99, non-refundable. When I finally ran out of options, I bit the bullet and had a service scheduled for October 31st. I told Sears we would not be home until after 4. The tech showed up at 9, surprise, nobody was home. I rescheduled for November 5th, after 4. He showed up promptly at 8:30, and happened to catch my wife before she left. He diagnosed it as a bad compressor. SURPRISE!

Then came the good news, this fridge has a one year warranty on all parts. There are hundreds of posts online about problems with Kenmore Compressors, so instead of Kenmore fixing the problem they dropped their 10-year warranty on the compressor. With this in mind, I now have a 14-month-old refrigerator that doesn’t work that I bought for $1600 from Sears. It seems that Kenmore should stand behind their products, they should not depend on extended warranties to cover their known quality problems.
