The refrigerator that we moved in with stopped working suddenly. We were in desperate need of a new one ASAP. We were so happy to have found this one in stock and quick delivery. I just love the French Doors. It has so much room inside and you can adjust the shelves for height. The ice machine takes awhile but works just fine. The ice cubes are not as big but I am not a picky person. I am just so thankful for my beautiful new refrigerator. The delivery was very professional. They called me very early and let me know their ETA. They arrived at the appointed time and installed it and hauled away the old one. Everything took less than an hour. Hope this helps!
Bought this refrigerator in September 2019, the defrost heater broke in June. We called for repairman on July 1, he came out July 24, told us needed part ordered and rescheduled repair to August 25. August 24 call from Sears that our part was not in and rescheduled to September 26. We called and were told because part was unavailable they would deliver us a new fridge on October 25. On October 22 Sears called and canceled our delivery until November 27. We have been 4 months, going on 5, without a refrigerator. In the last 2 days I have been on hold with Sears for over 3 hours! I am know waiting for the supervisor of the supervisor to call me back. I do not see how you will get this delivered in 3 days.
I suppose it's great. I ordered this but Sears lied on the description so I had to send it back because it didn't fit in my kitchen.
Very impressed with the refrigerator. Liked the sound when doors are left open. Plenty of space for all my food.
I bought this refrigerator on July 5th and it still hasn't been delivered to my home. First I was told it would be delivered on July 15, then they said it would be delivered on July 22nd, then July 29th, then Aug 12th and then Aug 27th. All the dates prior to Aug 27th were absolute lies since they were Thursdays and they only deliver to the mountain region where I live on Fridays! When they delivered it on Aug 27th it wouldn't fit through the door from my living room to my kitchen and I panicked and said it would be forever before it would be delivered again. The delivery guys said they would take it to the warehouse and I had 30 days to arrange for a new delivery date and there would be no problem. I called the next day and said we were good to go and arranged for the next possible date when they came to my area to make deliveries, Sept. 3rd. I was told the refrigerator would be delivered on that day. Then two days later I got a recorded message saying my delivery had been delayed and to call for a new delivery date. Now it's supposed to be delivered on Sept. 10th. I'm certain I'll get another recorded message saying it won't be delivered on that date, too. I have received no compensation for this even though I've told them my refrigerator has a fan problem and makes an awful noise and runs really hot and I know it is about to completely break down. I've been told if it does break they aren't responsible for the loss of the frozen and refrigerated food that will be ruined! I have never owned anything but Kenmore appliances, nor has my mother and that was all my grandmother purchased. I will NEVER buy anything from Sears again. They have made no effort to get my refrigerator to me or to even act as though they care about my business or the hardship this has caused me as I continually worry about the heat coming from my old refrigerator, the terrible loud noise it makes and the constant worry that it will break. The fact that my new one is sitting in a warehouse and they still won't deliver it on the promised date infuriates me more than ever. And I've asked to have people phone me about this since it is not the responsibility of the ones on the phone to whom I'm speaking and no one ever does. No wonder all the Sears stores are closing!
Please don't order this french door refrigerator with ice maker i have had nothing but problems with this unit it very nice looking nice size for big family but you will make a big mistake if you get this unit the freezer door gets stuck frozen with ice and can not open have to unplug and waste my food its been and intermittent problem it already has been fixed many time and replace once same problem this is a bad unit never will buy from Kenmore sears $1600 down the drain i gave up just use the refrigerator freezer broken very sad junk. I would give this a zero star if possible......
This refrigerator was a little larger than I expected but it worked out perfectly!
