The refrigerator that we moved in with stopped working suddenly. We were in desperate need of a new one ASAP. We were so happy to have found this one in stock and quick delivery. I just love the French Doors. It has so much room inside and you can adjust the shelves for height. The ice machine takes awhile but works just fine. The ice cubes are not as big but I am not a picky person. I am just so thankful for my beautiful new refrigerator. The delivery was very professional. They called me very early and let me know their ETA. They arrived at the appointed time and installed it and hauled away the old one. Everything took less than an hour. Hope this helps!
I purchased this fridge brand new in March of 2019. Until this month (November 2020), I loved it. It fit everything we needed and was ideal for our family. But 2 weeks ago, it went out and must be replaced per our appliance repairman who also stated that there are issues with the compressors for Kenmore fridges. Who knew? I researched this fridge prior to purchase thinking I was getting the old Kenmore quality. Nope. 18 months and my fridge is junk. When I purchase a fridge, I expect it to last at least 10 years (my old one is still kicking from 2007 but it is now too small so it is our spare "drinks and snacks" fridge). I don't consider a major appliance to be disposable. Apparently, Kenmore, and Sears by extension, do. How pathetic. I will *never* purchase another Kenmore anything.
our French door Kenmore elite was one of the first to market and is now quite old. Other than some early issues with a bad lot of compressors which Sears techs swapped out right away it just does what we bought it for, we love our Kenmore.
Purchased this fridge, had it installed and the ice maker has never worked. After waiting a week and a half for a repair appointment, the fix didn't do the job. Now I'm being punted between calls every day this week trying to get another repair man to come within the 30 day window from install but being lied to by workers saying to expect a phone call to set up a time for a worker to come. No call, no record of the repair appointment in their system. Fridge works ok, but in hindsight I would never have purchased from Sears if I had known about how awful the service department is.
Ice maker replaced, then fridge had to be replaced 1st few months. Now 2 1/2 yrs after purchase fridge isn't cooling. They don't make them like they use to.
The fridge is amazing. The size is generous for a family of 5. Fits everything I buy; however I hate the freezer. I much more prefer the pullout draw on the very bottom with the shelf above. Not the two slide out draws.
I purchased this refrigerator 3 years ago and it has already die down on me. It stop cooling the upper part. I placed a call to Sears Appliances repairs and was told that i had to wait three weeks for a technician!! Needless to say i was not happy with their response. bottom line the tech stop by my house checked out the refrigerator he told me the fan stop working and i needed a new censor!! I was blown away! I was under the impression that Kenmore was the best brand! No they have gone down the drain!! Needles to say i had to pay for the service and to add insult to injury he did nothing to make it work again. He left and told me to wait a while that the problem was fixed. He lie it never cool again. Now i am shopping for another one. which i cant afford. Stay away from Kenmore and Sears customer service repairs is the worst. Live and learn!!!!
