Just bought this fridge on Sunday and it was delivered on tuesday. looks great, but barely fit my space, make sure you measure your area and doors to make sure this will fit. cooled down right away and has plenty of space.
I ordered this fridge for my brother as a gift to his wife. Ordered in Nov., suppose to be delivered 12/14 then again changed to the 21st. Item was not delivered and when calling the delivery service was told the truck broke down. We had spoken to the driver already and he said they were in Red Lake Falls and now are in Bemidji, so I was lied to as well. I am now told they will call us tomorrow and try and get it delivered before Jan. 11th. If you need appliances don't shop Sears, the delivery service is seldom on time, many many complaints. I can't review the fridge as it hasn't been delivered, but I can say I have always purchased my appliances from them, and we're talking several times.
I been having problems with this refrigerator since I bought it! Freezer door will not open unless I turn off the ice maker! After I turn off my ice maker the freezer opens but don’t get cold.. I hate I even wasted my money on this refrigerator
Purchased this refrigerator in January. Repair man has been out every month since. Cannot fix the problem nor will they replace it! The freezer compartment is in deep freeze mode and the refrigerator section is 52°. The refrigerator runs 24/7 so therefore, it certainly is not an energy efficient model. The best Sears would do would be to send me a check for $115 to buy a mini refrigerator! They have canceled my repair appointment without notifying me and now they are not going to be out until June 6th. A cooler, with ice in it, only last so many hours to keep the food cold. This is a bad buy stay away!
Beware of delivery people stole $250 power drill while deliverying appliance to my house. Made a purchase of new stove and 2 refridgerators at Sears. The fridge delivered first. Once installed, I noticed the power drill on the kitchen counter was gone! Thinking back, now I know why they were in a rush out the door. I'm going to file a complaint to Sears about this. The stove is still scheduled to be delivered later in the month, and will be on eagle eyes on them.
Everything is ok on the fridge but the finish. I got the dark stainless steel and it scratches VERY easy if I had known this I would not have bought this one. Was told at the store this finish would not do this. WRONG. If I could return it I would. I just have to deal with it and be careful which is not easy with 4 kids in my home.
