would be helpful but not essential.
We purchased this Sears microwave two years ago and it just quits, making a disturbing electrical noise. But this new microwave does away with the flush wall plug, so your microwave oven is going to stick out about 5" from the wall in order to plug it in creating much less counter space. This type of wall plug that makes your microwave stick out from the wall as well as the two year limit on use, makes this an unattractive and very, very expensive Sears microwave to own.
My husband put noodles in the microwave for 3 minutes and it exploded before one and a half minutes. If my son would have been in the kitchen he would have gotten cut and that would have truly been unacceptable.
