great..except for

I love this gas range/oven... the only thing that i have a problem with is that the burner knobs will slightly turn on if your body happens to brush or bump them... many times i don't notice until i smell the gas...luckily i've been in the kitchen and have caught this before anything has happened.

Don't buy this!!

The stove and range itself works fine BUT the design is that the front vents to let out heat also let in any drips from the range, and dog hair and dust get sucked in and get trapped between the 2 panels of glass so the stove ALWAYS LOOKS DIRTY. It cannot be cleaned without taking the entire door apart. Sears will not cover getting the trapped dirt out under the protection agreement we paid extra for. It is a design flaw. If they just had a little lip over these vents no drips would enter, and a metal screen would keep out hair and dust. My old GE stove never got dirty between the glass like this. Next time I buy a better brand and different design. Look elsewhere and watch the vent design!!!!

Range burners

Within a year of purchasing this oven the range burners became very finicky. The large burner sometimes doesn't light at all, and just emits gas. The times when it finally does light, a huge flame jumps out which  is very dangerous, particularly since  it's the front burner.

Awful customer service

Our stove arrived damaged. Noticed damage to the oven door handle and the bottom tray was not aligned right. The delivery guy got annoyed and was suddenly in a rush to get to his next drop off when I said I had to remove the old anti-tip device in order to make this range fit. He suggested I remove it and then ‘push the stove in myself’. It was in the way of the feet. They installed it without an anti tip device, damaged and crooked and the next morning-plastic and styrofoam in the gutter from where they unpacked it. I called Sears and they offered either replacement or a credit.  Took the credit-I could swap the handle myself and fix the tray. Credit came in $80 short of what they told me. They wouldn’t correct the amount or exchange the stove so I’m returnIng it. Jumping through hoops.
