This is a great range! Price, features, looks and performance. The burners all work great, its nice having the middle burner and being able to move pots and pans all around on the stove. I do wish the front left burner was the bigger burner. The convection oven is unreal. I thought it was a gimmick but it really cooks things better. Pizza comes out cooked on top and bottom so the crust is great. Really impressed on the convection.
I don't know why this cook top can't be cleaned! It's awful! I have to use magic eraser because nothing else works. Can't miss a thorough cleaning after every use or it's impossible next time. Tiny black and brown specks that won't come off even when scratched with fingernail are always left around the burners. If I knew this I wouldn't have bought it. Too bad cuz it cooks really well and looks so nice.
I've had this range for 3 weeks now, and I'm very happy with it. It's great to have a selection of gas burners --- turbo to simmer. Oven preheats quickly. It's attractive and easy to clean the stove top. I spent many hours researching what range to purchase, glad it led to this one. It's a terrific product.
Bought is 2015. During the first year the oven burner cracked and the shield needed replaced also. Getting a serviceman to the house was no problem. Now in 2018, the same problem was diagnosed on Nov.13, but service not available till Dec. 13,2018. Could not use oven. I received confirmation of this visit the night before. On the day of service I received 3 emails in the afternoon, one minute apart, telling me my service call was rescheduled for Dec. 17!!! I called and was told, no, it was still for today. At 4 pm I called again and was told serviceman was nearby and would call soon. At 5:30 (my service window was 12 to 5), I was told by the 3rd different foreign call center operator that the truck broke down and I would have to be rescheduled. This would be funny, if I weren't so mad. She changed it 3 times while on the phone with me and finally said it would be Dec. 19, 8-12. Well, I got 3 emails again, saying it was Dec 18 (during the time of my dental appt.) I went to the website and it said my appt. was Dec. 19. WTH.. I am paying for a service contract. Is this what happens when most of the Sears go out of business? Based on this experience and a previous one on my hot water heater, I would not recommend buying appliances from Sears anymore.
After cooking with electric stove the last 10 years this gas range is fantastic. It is easy to operate and heating is very even. Only thing I would change is to make the stove top cast iron molds individual instead of one piece for two burners.
We purchased this range last year. After cleaning, we found that the bottom of the oven had bubbled up and there were burn marks on the oven door. I contacted customer service twice. They told me to "clean" it. I explained that you can't "clean" burn marks nor can you can clean a surface which has bubbled up. I then called recently and was told the same thing. If I wanted someone to come and look at it, I would have to pay.
