I bought this dryer skeptic because of bad reviews but took a leap of faith & I am glad I did. No complaints, drys clothes very nicely & wrinkle free which makes my ironing much easier. I recommend this dryer!,,,,,
Stopped Heating up already and I have only had it for 4 months.
The dryer performing as it supposed to, however sometimes the loading door popped out by itself causing the machine stopped. I have to close the loading door shut, and restart the machine again.
Sears will sell you a gas dryer, and charge you a removal fee, even if they do not have an installation crew in your area that works with gas lines...and the delivery crew will not haul off your old one if not disconnected. Ended up doing everything myself with the help of a friend. No wonder Sears is going out of business. Dryer works fine though.
Works greata it replaced our 20+ yearold dryer that wouldn't heat.
took a month to get, worked for 1 month, quit heating, took a month to get repairman here, had to order parts, over a month to come back and install, worked 1 day, next time went to use, dried for 1/2 load
I purchased delivery and installation of this dryer, and haul away of the old dryer. Right now, I have both dryers sitting in my laundry room and the new dryer has not been installed. Sears saw fit to engage a third-party delivery service that does not install gas dryers; they won't even disconnect the old dryer from the gas line. And I'm still waiting to hear back from Sears customer service. I expect I'll have to schedule a second (and maybe third) visit from Sears' contractors...this is unsatisfactory.
