Love this dryer!

I was afraid that 6.5 would be too small for my needs but there is plenty of space to dry a large load of wash. Miss having the pull down door compared to the swing door. Dryer is quiet and the interior light is a nice plus.

Very Loud

No wonder Sears is probably going bankrupt. I purchased this dryer and it has nothing but trouble. As soon as it was hooked up by a master plumber who I have doing business with for 28 years we turned it on and I thought the dryer was about to take off like a motor boat. The noise is excruciating to say the least, I called customer service and that alone was a job in itself to communicate with these people. Finally they were going to send out a service man to take a look at it. I had to wait over a week for an appointment. The serviceman came and heard the noise and said that he never heard anything like this in his 15 years of repair. He took the front panel off and checked the internal parts and said to me he never saw a design like this before where the motor sits. He didn't know how to fix the problem. So they are ordering me another new dryer. That dryer is going to take two weeks to be delivered. Now with my very sick daughter at home her and the rest of the family are slowly losing our minds with the noise from the existing dryer. If the new one turns out to be the same problem it is going right back. Also, I have to pay the plumber a second time to uninstall and install again. I complained to Sears about this and they only reimbursed me with a 10% discount off of the original price. Big Deal!!!!!! I'm still in the hole for an extra $80 to pay the plumbers fee of $150. Never, ever again will I do business with Sears. Buy at your own risk!!!!!!

Very loud/noisy

|

I purchased this dryer because I have a very limited space. But when the tech installed it and turned it on. We had to yell at each other to hear ourselves over the running machine. It’s too loud to deal with this machine for its life existence. And it’s even more expensive since it’s a special size. I’m going to have it picked up unfortunately.

Laundry no longer a time consuming chore

|

We purchased this dryer to fit in a closet which we had only 32" to work with. We love it. It fits perfectly and has plenty of room for our loads of laundry. It is easy to use and while it does have manual controls, we like it so much better than the electronic settings our old dryer had. There is something to be said for keeping it simple.

Our old dryer from the beginning would take two hours to dry towels on the automatic setting and forget the timed dry even with changing the heat setting. With the new dryer 40 minutes and those babies were dry using a high setting.
