Description Specifications
Steam Reduces Wrinkles & Refreshes Clothes The future of clothes drying is now with the 8.8 cu. ft. gas dryer with Steam Refresh by Kenmore. This spacious appliance distinguishes itself from the competition with SmartDry Ultra technology, a four-point sensing system that includes two moisture sensors that automatically adjust cycle time and temperature. Related features, such as the Wrinkle Guard® and Steam Refresh functions, reduce wrinkles and odors so your laundry looks and smells its best. Inside, LED lights make viewing the contents easier, while quad baffles reduce the frustration of balling and tangling.

A Dryer and More

  • SmartDry Ultra technology automatically adjusts cycle time and temperature
  • Steam Refresh lets you refresh a small load, with a light mist that reduces wrinkles and minimizes odors
  • Wrinkle Guard® option helps prevent wrinkles by tumbling clothes periodically for up to 150 minutes after your cycle finishes
  • Certified Sanitize cycle removes 99.9% of bacteria with high heat temperatures and is ideal for sanitizing bedding and children’s clothing

Laundry Simplified

  • Quad baffles reduce balling and tangling to make withdrawing clothes easier
  • Lint screen has a smooth surface that’s easy to remove and clean
  • LED lighting makes it easier to see contents
  • Capacitive Touch Controls look sleek and respond quickly to your touch

Quit Reading Review After Review Just Buy This One

I purchased this dryer when the 20+ year old gas dryer I had finally gave up. I have had this dryer for almost a month, and so far it is great. I looked at dryers and compared them for weeks. There are so many features, it's hard to make a decision. I knew I wanted a Kenmore, wanted a higher capacity, and liked the idea of the steam. This dryer fulfills all of those. In some reviews of similar dryers, I have seen where people had the buttons quit working. You don't have to push the buttons, you just lay your finger on them and they work. I iron all of my clothes, but if your idea of ironing is throw the clothes in the dryer for 20 minutes, then you will love the steam refresh cycle. My wife throws her scrubs in while she's finishing getting ready for work, 20 minutes later, no wrinkles. If you leave the "energy efficient" option turned on, it will more than double the drying time. Not very energy efficient. This dryer is quiet, dries clothes quickly, will handle large loads, and the steam option works great. Hope this one last 20 years like the last Kenmore.
