We initially picked this refrigerator/freezer combo because of the price; Kenmore is always such a good deal. But we have been so pleased with this purchase as we LOVE the fridge on top and the freezer sliding basket on the bottom. The finish is super nice, too. Life is so much better with this one!
Bought this July 2 as we have a previous model from 3 years ago. I like the finished look of this fridge but it is very small on the inside, feels cheaply made and the freezer light occasionally works as there is so much frost buildup with minimal items in the freezer. It also makes a small amount of ice compared to the older model. In short, this is a cheap shell compared to the previous model and is not worth the cost. Get a service policy because you will need it.
I love how every shelf is moveable and it's split shelving so I can do 5 different heights! Everything is removable to customize the space how you want it! Perfect for someone doing cakes out of their house like me!
The size is great and much better than the side by side I had. Much easier to use. The finish never shows marks either?
I like the style of this fridge....it's not too big or small! It is a little noisy but nothing that is really disturbing! The ice maker was working for a while but then quit and when the maintenance guy came over it turned out to be a problem with the copper line that is feeding the ice maker...long story short I would need to bring in a plumber to put in a whole new line because the current one was barely allowing any water through. Apparently this is a common problem with that type of line...they either get kinked or they get corroded. Bummer! Glad I didn't throw out my old ice cube trays. Outside of that issue I am very happy with my purchase.
