Works perfectly!

The refrigerator is spacious and well-lit. It does take a good 36-48 hours to get fully cold, but it is working perfectly. The internal water dispenser is very convenient and the ice cubes are made at a good rate. I am very glad that I purchased this item.

Good capacity refrigerator ruined by flaws

We purchased this refrigerator in February 2014. I'm writing this review in August 2014 from a consumer perspective. This fridge fits under those tiny cabinets in older homes meeting the standard 68" height restriction which was our reason for choosing this model. The cubic inch capacity is a bit deceiving, as we had Frigidaire two door side by side model with water dispenser and ice maker in our rental home. There is definitely a huge improvement with this style fridge as there is a larger capacity of space for food and juice items. Noise was not noticeable except once in a while when the ice dispenser worked. Now the bum deal. I had purchased the warranty on this fridge and had put in for service to come out after discovering this fridge repeatedly had an issue with water dripping from the filter area. In the interim I put a plastic cup under the filter to catch the drips. I had to check it frequently to make sure the cup did not run over onto the shelves. The technician came out today and took apart the filter assembly to investigate the issue. Turned out, it had absolutely nothing to do with the filtered water hose or the filter itself. It was condensation building up inside the interior of the filter assembling. I took a look and due to the condensation, there was corrosion happening on the part where the wires were connected, obviously not a good indication. The technician called to get guidance on this issue, and there were other complaints about similar findings. Attempts to seal the housing had failed, and apparently this is a defect due to either inadequate insulation between the cabinets in that area or some other defect. So a wonderful fridge with wonderful details is completely ruined by a defective insulation issue which allows condensation to form in the water dispenser/filter housing and then drip out the rear where the water filter is plugged in. So now, we're going to have to replace our 'perfect' find, which turns out to be defective. Sigh! Heart broken because this was a wonderful choice for our family and quite adequate. :(

Great Refrigerator!

This is a great product and purchased it at a great price. I like the water dispenser inside the fridge. The LED lighting is also a special feature. I like the top freezer better than my last unit which had a bottom freezer. Ice cube maker also works perfectly. Great product Sears!!

One of the Best Appliances I have ever purchased

I love this Refrigerator, I purchased this refrigerator in 2017 it is now 2019 and this refrigerator is still working as good as the day it arrived. it is spacious and roomy, it has a water dispenser, large ice bin, and a large drawer in side. The interior is well lit, the only noise you hear is the ice cubes falling into the ice bin. Sears delivery men did a fantastic job when they unpacked and installed it. However, when it was time for Sears installation to come out and hook up the ice maker he did a horrible job as he left a gigantic hole in my wall and cabinets.

Bought this refrigerator in March 2018 and  on  December 1 the fan started to make a noise like when you were a kid and you put a playing card in your bicycle tire very loud. Call Sears customer service spoke to someone in the  Philippines who said the first available service date would be December 26 the fan stop making noise but it stopped altogether It is now December 10 I had to buy a used refrigerator to put our food in because my service date is still two weeks away it’s easy to see why Sears is on the way out!
