I have used the same canister vacuum just different versions over the last 30 years. I have back issues and this vacuum allows me to do all my cleaning (dusting, upholstery and ceiling areas) without hardly any bending. The canister is so light weight that it is not an issue to pick up when I have to lift it which is not often. Talked my boss into one for our nursing facility. He was so impressed with the ease of use and suction he had me buy 2 more.
I have been using the previous design for more that 10 years for my carpet and house cleaning business! All of my crews loved them! We loved the fact that you can use these on both carpets and floors with good attachments! However, with this new design there are a few major flaws that will makes us look for another brand! The turn on switch is located on the body which is a huge problem! When you vacuum the stairs for example and hold the vacuum in your hand you always hit the switch with your leg turning it off multiple times no matter how careful you are. Also when you vacuum carpets and you move the cord it usually falls on the switch turning the vacuum off. Another issue is with the attachments being attached the to wand! Whos idea was that? They never stay in place EVER! They keep falling off! The new floor attachment is also bad! Very cheaply made and it scratched hardwood floors!
It's compact, I love the handle on the hose. It picks up the cat hair and the cat liter I'm happy. Do wish the on/off switch was on the handle like my friend's older model but other wise very happy
The vacuum is great, great suction.. The only negative I have is, I wish the power button was on the hose. Instead it's on the machine.
Too small for the power installed. Extemely powerful but hardware too delicate.
