Bring on the Bulky Stuff
A generous 7.4 cu. ft. of capacity is perfect for drying loads of towels, heaping hampers of work and school clothes and even bulky bedding. Use the Bulky/Bedding and Heavy Duty cycles for heavier laundry, like jeans and towels, without needing to babysit the dryer or trekking out to the laundromat to use a specialty dryer.
The Right Amount of Dry
Choose from 5 different heat levels and 5 different dry times to get your clothes and fabrics the right amount of dry in the right amount of time. Dual Sensor Dry uses 2 moisture sensors to monitor dryness levels throughout the cycle, adjusting temperature and dry time for the best results.
Wrinkle Guard lets you do laundry on your terms by giving a load a quick toss to prevent set-in wrinkles for up to 150 minutes after the dry cycle, so you can run errands or take a nap without needing to iron out the laundry. Use the Touch Up cycle to loosen up wrinkles or freshen up your favorite outfit.
Give Your Fabrics a Refresher
Toss in soiled bedding, well-loved...
This Dryer has digital controls and allows for customization of your cycle. Choose no heat, low, medium low, medium, medium high, or high. You can set it for a specific time or use the sensing function to dry for the exact right amount of time for your specific load. I did have to re-dry a small load once, i think it had trouble sensing the moisture with only 2 items inside (brand new clothes that are supposed to be washed separately). Use dryer sheets or a dryer bar for added convenience. This unit also have a handy steam function that can be used to quickly refresh or un-wrinkle some previously cleaned clothes which comes in handy! There is an optional storage stand you can mount the dryer on to raise it up to a more comfortable height and create some super convenient storage right where you need it.
I like the dryer in general, love the features and steam option. One major thing that has been happening though is the clothes are getting caught on the vent and turning and ripping. I've had so many clothes in the past few months ruined. I don't even dry tank tops of fragile items anymore. It has even started grabbing belt loops on jeans and khakis and ripping them off. Thumbs down for all the ruined clothes.
Repair Tech tells me that the 11 AutoDry Cycles don't really work and that I should only use one of the 4 Timed Cyles!!! WHAT!
Then he tells me that Steam Feature really isn't steam. It's hot water that evaporates in the drum! Perhaps he should watch the Sears video showing steam - not water coming out of the valve. So $1300 for dryer and another $450 for the Warranty and left holding the bag! Don't buy from Sears!
Delivery was canceled twice on day of scheduled delivery. After second time I canceled order.
This piece of equipment is every thing I wanted and more. I researched this , and Kenmore is the only appliance I would purchase because of the lasting effect. I love it.
I started having trouble with my dryer a few weeks after I purchased. They both are very efficient as far as speed, but I can put a normal size load in the washer and dryer both, and the washer makes crazy noises during the spin cycle. The dryer will stop after a few minutes and give me a message on the screen that says "D95". It's like the load (again a normal size load) causes the dryer to stop
