Very Convenient

I was skeptical when I bought this product. I had heard a lot of bad things about condensing dryers. I went for it anyway. It has been the best purchase I have ever made. I live in a small apartment in Alaska. Not only does this allow me to not have a hole in my house venting to the outside but it also sends the warm dry air into the room and reduces my heating bill. I have not had any problems drying loads. I am able to dry a full load in under two hours. I bought the washer as welll with  the stacking unit and have been very happy with both. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Delivered Damaged

The dryer was delivered with two dents on each side of the frame. I was told by Sears Delivery he would photograph the damage, send it to Sears and that I could expect a $100-$200 Rebate on the damaged model. When I wasn’t contacted after a few days, I called Sears only to be told that I failed to report the damage within 3 days so there was nothing they would do. Pretty bad customer relations.

very good

good job of drying clothes and other items, no vent hose in back, air blow from front left bottom of dryer but it is only warm and doesn't really heat up area. very quiet, tosses clothes in both directions so nothing gets balled up and does not get dried.
has many different temperature and fabric settings.
has worked very well thus far, small and easy to use.
not made in USA however thankfully not made in china either, this product is made in Poland.

Glad I bought it

The condenser dryer technology is vastly improved from the dryer I bought almost 8 years ago( and which was the only one I could find to fit into my laundry closet). And I won't mention the name of that brand because I suspect their condenser dryers are also better by now.. What I appreciate the most about this dryer is the ability to EASILY remove excess collected water after each drying load. Lots of different settings to choose from, depending upon what needs to be dried.. Another reason I decided to go with a Kenmore appliance is their solid reputation. I have had many Kenmore appliances throughout the years and have been very happy with them.
And while other brands are covered by the Sears service agreements, I am guessing the Sears technicians will have an easier time working on this dryer, as opposed to my previous condenser dryer (in the event the dryer will need service at a future date). Thus far, I am very, very, very glad I replaced my older condenser dryer with this Kenmore condenser dryer.
