Description Specifications
Steam Reduces Wrinkles & Refreshes Clothes Take the toil and guesswork out of getting the laundry dry and let the Kenmore 92382 Gas Dryer with Wrinkle Guard do the work for you. This Kenmore gas dryer uses Dual Sensor technology to monitor moisture levels and adjust temperatures and time throughout the cycle for a seriously thorough dry that’s still gentle on your fabrics. Steam Refresh and Touch Up cycles help release wrinkles and freshen up outfits without needing a full wash cycle while the Sanitize Cycle is perfect for families who want to keep things germ- and bacteria-free, even blankies and teddies. Wrinkle Guard prevents set-in wrinkles after the dry cycle ends by giving your laundry a quick tumble; no more dragging out the iron. Get more laundry done without the hassle with the Kenmore metallic silver gas dryer.

Bring on the Bulky Stuff
This Kenmore gas dryer has a generous 7.4 cu. ft. of capacity, perfect for drying loads of towels, heaping hampers of work and school clothes and even bulky bedding. Use the Bulky/Bedding and Heavy Duty cycles for heavier laundry, like jeans and towels, without needing to babysit the dryer or trekking out to the laundromat to use a specialty dryer.

The Right Amount of Dry
Choose from 5 different heat levels, including Air Dry, and 5 different dry times to get your clothes and fabrics the right amount of dry in the right amount of time. Dual Sensor Dry uses 2 moisture sensors to monitor dryness levels throughout the cycle

So Fast!

Wow! This dryer really gets the job done in a snap! I load it up and set out to do something else. In half the time of my old machine, my clothes are dry and my chores are done.

stopped working after a month

We bought this dryer new in May 2018. By June it had stopped producing heat. Sears customer service initially tried to blame it on the fact that it connected to a single 20 amp breaker, rather than a double (40 amp) breaker, which is absurd (the manual specifies 15 amp is sufficient). A Sears-authorized repairman has twice attempted to repair it, without success. Today I was told that the new part (which may or may not fix the problem) will take at least 2 weeks to arrive. Sears Customer Service has refused to replace the dryer and essentially told me that we could be without a working dryer indefinitely. Our last Kenmore dryer worked for 18 years without problems. This one lasted a month. The dryer was otherwise nice, for the brief period that it worked. It currently is being used as a flat surface on which to stack things.

Not Satisfied

Does not dry the clothes completely. Even on extra dry. Called service after first week as it wouldn't cycle properly. Would start then shut off shortly after. Went through and tech suggested unplugging and then re-plugging in. (Hard reset). Still didn't dry clothes. Seemed to fix rapid cycle shutoff. Second Tech call they suggested wiping off a sensor bar. Check vent. Clean lint screen. I am not a rookie at this. Dryers turn on, dry and then shut off. Have a house full of Kenmore appliances. Wanted to match the new Kenmore washer purchased last year and this would be my first lemon.

Washer

This is an excellent appliance. It washes clothes quickly and is a very quiet running machine. One minus, the bleach dispenser is for Chlorine Bleach only, Color safe bleach goes where?? Owners manual is not clear.

I recommend this product without hesitation.

Love my dryer from Kenmore. It reliably dries my clothes quickly but without frying them. I love the control this dryer gives me over temperature and duration. There is nothing I would change about it.

Great Dryer with Good Temperature Control

|

Purchased dryer to match the washer (Kenmore 41302). Best part about the dryer is the large capacity and good temperature control. Previous dryer we owned had very poor temperature control (too hot and off with very little in between).
