Haven't had it too long... so far so good. But WARNING the drawer in the bottom has a VERY sharp edge. Reached in for a pan this morning and cut my finger to the bone.

Worst purchase ever

I have had glass stoves previously. From the moment I got this one, I began to notice scratches on the surface. I am using the highest quality All Clad pans on it, not some cheap aluminum pans that will warp and scratch the cooktop. Today, after having the stove 8 months, I see the glass has cracked rendering the stove useless. I can pay $1000 to have the glass replaced or purchase a new stove. I can only hope that the manufacturer will replace it as defective...I will write an updated post after I am in touch with them. By the way, the stove is made by Electrolux, FYI.

Stay away... not worth the money

I bought this stove less than 2 years ago and not even 6 months after my purchase I was extremely disappointed. I’ve had Kenmore appliances since i had my first home. Last set lasted 12+ year. Only bought new ones to change to stainless steel and the quality is definitely not the same. The glass got scratched within months. Yes, I cook every day however I bought new cooking set with the appliances and nothing. I’ve known how to clean it and maintain it and nothing... extremely disappointed. Now the oven light does even turn off. My last stove looked barely used after 12 years and this looks 12+ years old in less than 2.

NIX-NIX for Kenmore Range

I owned a Kenmore glasstop range when they were fairly new (2002). It lasted for over 15 years, never needed repaired, and was easily kept clean and shiny. Naturally when the top finally got a hairline crack, and yet still worked, I didn't look at any brand but Kenmore. This is their mid-level model, but still each feature on what used to be an awesome range/oven is now terrible. ------------------ GLASSTOP: Everything that used to wipe right off now sticks. It takes a full 4 minutes LONGER to HEAT UP than my 2002 model. And each burner heats to a different tempurature at medium! CONTROL PANEL: When you turn on the oven you then have to press START;which is STUPID considering you just pressed BAKE to turn it on. When timer is in use there is no other display available. OVEN: iT also takes longer to heat up. The racks are thin and cheap and with only a couple dozen uses the tracks that they slide along are scratching the interior. Something my original one had just started to do.There is no way to turn off the oven light when the door is open; which takes over the Control Panel with D-O. Like you don't know that you just opened the door! OVEN DRAWER: MUCH SMALLER - I had to store 2 of my large oven pans somewhere else. And it's NOT on TRACKS so it sags to the floor and takes two hands to lift and open / close it.

Go for another Electric range

Works great... but bottom drawer will not close correctly and the top of the stove stains badly and is extremely hard to clean. I will never buy another , which is sad cause it's where I always shopped for 50 years.

Bought the oven as a gift for my son and daughter in law!

They love their new Oven with the smooth cook top and convection. They cook and entertain alot so this oven was a great compliment to their lifestyle.
