Description Specifications
Keep Pouring Those Delicious Cold Glasses of Water by Replacing Your Old Filter with a New Kenmore 200 gal. Water Filter The Kenmore Water Filter is the best way to guarantee that you continue to enjoy the pure tasting water from your refrigerator’s water spout. Filtered water is the most delicious and economical way to quench your thirst. You’ll save a bundle by not ever purchasing bottled water again. One filter is good for up to six months, or 200 gallons (757 liters). Municipal water supplies contain chlorine and other chemicals. Regularly replacing your filter is a way to keep your family safe from invisible toxins. The Kenmore Water Filter will eliminate asbestos, chlorine, mercury and more. Be sure to replace your filter as often as needed. If you notice a reduction in water flow, you may need to replace your filter sooner than six months.

  • Drink water the way nature intended with the Kenmore Water Filter
  • Capacity is 200 gallons (757 liters)
  • The disposable filter cartridge must be replaced every six months
  • Tested and certified by NSF International
  • Filters lead, mercury, cysts, and chemicals including asbestos, atrazine and benzene

Kenmore 200 gal. Water Filter has a very short life

Very easy to install, and produces great tasting water, but only lasts up to 3 months - not 6 - at which point the water starts to taste musty. We've had our fridge for 7 months now, and it's time for me to purchase my 3rd filter - at almost $60 a pop.

Kenmore 200 gal.water filter - 09690 - The filter does not last

We love the ice and water when filter is new. We have had it 2 1/2 months and it is slowing down. We will have to replace very soon. It costs too much ($60.00) and only last 2-3 months. I will not buy another one that cost this much and only last a short period of time. We will put a more resonable filter ($19.95) that lasts 6-12 months. This filter goes behind the refrigerator on the water line and works great. Instead of $240.00 a year for a filter you will pay $19.95 (or maybe (39.90) for 1 1/2 - 2 years. It is a shame they rip you off for the filters for this refrigerator. Love the refrigerator but not the price and short lifespan of the filter.
