Just bought this one to replace my 3-year-old Dandy dead **** refrigerator. It works fine. The only thing I don't like is the vertical-drop beerS rack on the door. Not everyone want to put beers or sodas in it. That stupid design cannot store any other kind of can food.
Bought 3 months ago and initially worked fine. Control was initially set at middle and kept unit at 46 degrees. As I like beverages to be kept at 38 - 40 degrees, I attempted to set a colder temperature. At first the setting was too cold and almost froze the soft drinks. However as time has passed, I now have the setting at max cold which only achieves a temperature of 46 degrees. The unit is failing fast. I will try to return the unit.
Item was damaged during shipping, unfortunately, I didn't open the box it arrived in immediately. The refrigerator is a nice unit but I can't get over the major rent to the top corner which is very visible.
This refrigerator is excellent. It is compact but very roomy. It has just the right size freezer section and I can pack in lots of bottles of soda and water along with leftovers and foods to prepare for the next day. Perfect "bachelorette" size frig.
Today is Nov. 2, 2017. I placed an order and paid for this refrigerator on Sep. 9, 2017. I still haven't received a notice that it is ready for pickup. Where is my refrigerator?
I have to be absolutely clear in this review. The Kenmore 99763 is fantastic HOWEVER Sears sent me in my first order a broken piece of garbage. They sent me a dented and fully damaged model. After spending 5 hours of my day with various people at customer service whose names and ID's I have written down told me they would send me a new fridge and take away the damaged one. I had to wait 5 days before the delivery showed up WITH THE WRONG FRIDGE!! After arguing with the delivery person, they left and I had to call the Philippines again since all their calls are outsourced there. After waiting another 2 hrs for a resolution the only way to resolve this was to get a refund for the fridge and purchase the another one. I did and they took care of the shipping and also refunded my delivery fee, also promised they would HAUL AWAY the damaged fridge (which I paid $25) HOWEVER the new fridge took 3 days to arrive and they did not take away the old damaged fridge. SEARS HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOR THAT I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING ANYTHING EVER! ******** is far better with customer service and appliances! I am so disappointed in the lack of accountability as well as the intelligence needed to service customers. I am still owed a refund or having someone come pick up the damaged garbage fridge Sears delivered. Oh ALSO! Make sure you know who is delivering your products if you do continue to order from Sears because they either use UPS or some trash company called MXD that seems to be operated by criminals that Sears enjoys to use to torture their customers.
It's a perfect fridge for home away from home.
