Just what I needed for the new stove
I purchased an appliance package from sears online. Dishwasher, refrigerator, and stove. The total purchase was over $2200 dollars. I set the install for a Saturday. I ended up getting called into work, so my girlfriend was there to watch over the install. About an hour after they arrived, my girlfriend called to tell me they weren't going to install the dishwasher, (they said I had to hire a separate contractor for that),and they wouldn't be able to install the refrigerator because they couldn't find the water shutoff. At this point I told my girlfriend to cancel the order if they couldn't install anything. I have a very small house with no extra room to store the new appliances until a real install team could come out. The install guys then decided to leave my old stove in my driveway, and left my old refrigerator pulled out with the water hose now leaking, and my girlfriend in tears. So, I went home to find the mess Sears left for me, and immediately called them to find out why they didn't return my old appliances to the condition they found them in. I was told they would come back and reinstall my old appliances correctly. No one ever showed back up. Sears used to have wonderful customer service. This sadly, is no longer the case. Calls get answered in Bangladesh, snd the installers are sub contractors. I won't buy anything from Sears for the remainder of my time on this earth. It's easy to see why they are about to go Bankrupt. I ended up buying from a local mom and pop appliance store, and couldn't be happier with the customer service. I paid more than I would have at Sears, but it was worth every penny. Best prices + bad customer service = failing business.
Cord was not delivered with the Range, I talked with customer service and I am suppose to receive a refund.
