Required for dryer plugs in older homes.
We ordered on the phone but the Sears employee we spoke with didn't bother to tell us this required a 220v outlet, so when our dryer was delivered, it couldn't be installed because we had a 110v outlet. She did ask us if we had a 3-prong or 4-prong outlet; we had a 3-prong, but she didn't mention the voltage requirement. We had to have an electrician come in and upgrade the outlet, which was fine. If we had been told this at order time, we could have had the outlet replaced before delivery. Plus, we could have bought this and other required accessories cheaper at the local hardware store.
I never got my order! Customer service was the worse I've ever experienced!! They did not understand that I couldn't drive to get the stacking kit they ordered for me and sent to Mississippi whilst I live in Washington state. They even called the dispatch in Mississippi twice trying to get them to deliver it! Bet Sears business overall has grossly declined! Wouldn't shop there again ever, no matter what a good sale they might seem to have!! It's not a sale if you can't manage delivery and installation!!

The installers were excellent.
Nothing wrong with the cord, but it was the wrong one. Never knew that there was a 4 prong which is what I needed. The Sears delivery guys however had the correct one...no problem.
