Had an electronic couisinart for over 20 years and it finally went to toaster heaven. Spent a couple hours looking for a replacement because it was obsolete and am I happy it was. I researched toasters for a couple hours online ad decided to try this. It is great! It does frozen waffles and french toast perfectly. Youhavevto experiment a little to get your toast the way you want it but once you do, it doesnt forget. Can't think one thing against it. Lowers and raises, let's you peek to see if it's thewayyou want it, does one slot only, toasts one piece or4, signals when ready and on and on. Buy it you will look for things to toast!
Someone had the luxury of usong this toaster for a good amount of time. It arrived in the original box but the box and toaster had crumbs in it. The toaster inside had dark black on the parts inside from useage as well as more crumbs! I'm hoping for reimbursement and hopefully a "new" toaster!
We bought this for our motor home because it had the wider slots for bagels, sandwiches, etc. and it has not disappointed us. We like the touch programming, and it toasts/ heats very evenly.
Being a bit skeptical about a toaster without a lever to pull bread down, but I don't miss it now, this toaster is all controlled with buttons and an electronic display, you can select how toasted you want the bread or which side to toast inside only or both outside and inside, and if you only want to use the front slot there is also a button for that.
Beeps once done, and you can also re-heat the bread.
Works great for longer round bread that would not fit in a conventional toaster.
I love that it doesn't have a push down. It has a "check" button so you can see how it's doing but after the first few weeks I haven't used it bc it's pretty consistent.
