Built solid, looks lovely, works great!

I am so impressed so far and love this dishwasher! The salesman at Sears was helpful and the delivery/installation was professional. It is very quiet, has a fast cycle option. My dishes came out spotless and dry. Finally a dishwasher that really cleans well. One of the few dishwashers that comes with a heated coil dryer and self cleaning filter. The active finish leaves no fingerprints and is pretty. I like the layout and can fit a lot in it. It has so many options and yet is so easy to operate.

Several Big Disappointments

Chose this model as it allowed for either 'just top' or 'just bottom' rack cleaning; and, it had a third rack. Found that for 'just top', it only cuts 2 minutes off the regular load time. For 'just bottom', it does cut 22 minutes off the cleaning time; but, you cannot put plastic items in that rack. However, the biggest disappointment is the third rack. I've had both Bosch and Miele dishwashers with these racks and know how helpful they can be. But, this one is so badly designed that it's a waste to spend the money to get it. The small spokes/tines are so short that they do not hold the utensils on their sides, like they show in one of their photos. Other manufacturers of dishwashers with third shelves have longer tines that actually do hold the eating utensils on their sides. (I even took my utensils in and asked to have the sales person show me how to make them stand up as shown in the picture. She couldn't get any of them to.) And, the rack does not have a swale down the center, as other brands do, so you cannot put in cooking utensils such as ladles or large cooking spatulas. They've made a token gesture at providing the third rack--it is a waste. Most of their pictures no longer show eating utensils, I'm sure because they know they don't do the job. Instead, they show flat items that don't require the tines, so they know they totally missed the mark. And, since they know that rack doesn't do the job, why not remove the tines to make the space more versatile? They've acknowledged the defect by changing the pictures. Why not just fix the rack? And, the water sprayer above the third rack is so small that the tops of the items along the sides of the third rack don't get clean. One other feature that is worthless is the knife holder attached to the bottom rack. The one mine came with fell off every time I tried to push in the bottom rack if even one knife was in it. I had also taken my knife rack into the store to be shown how I was misusing it. Put my knives in one of their models--it worked. Then tried my knife holder with their store model dishwasher, and mine still didn't work. Sales person just had me trade my faulty on for the model's one. But, it is still not great. If the knife has a decent length handle, the knife catches on the nozzle on the side of the dishwasher and you can't pull the lower rack out. So disappointed that I wasted money on extra features that aren't worth the expense in the Sears model. Should have gone with another manufacturer.

Very happy with this dishwasher performance.  Dishes are spotless and the dishwasher is so quiet you don’t hear it running! I got the active finish, no drips or fingerprints on the front of the machine. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for.  I have had a few dishwashers, this one is the best!

Elite Dishwasher

Easy to install. Clean great with lots of room for dishes. The best part is that is so quite that you have to put your ear next to the door to see if it is running. The only other way is the little blue light is on.

Better than expected

Cycles take longer than our old dishwasher, but the energy savings is substantial and the thing just cleans! And cleans well. Except for some dried on stuff (days old) that can cause issues, everything comes out spotless. And we live in a very hard water area ... tough for dishwashers to work well considering modern detergents.

This is by far the best dishwasher I have ever owned or used.

It is also so quiet that sometimes I have to look to make sure it is on.

I HIGHLY recommend this model. It is superb!

Loving the features

|

I’ve only had it a couple of weeks, but so far I’m loving this very quiet dishwasher. I love the adjustable center rack. I love the idea of the knife holder, but with the knives in, the bottom rack won’t close, if you have it on the side. It won’t hook on the front, so I put it in the back. It may be easier to just use the top (flatware) rack for sharp knives.
So far, I haven’t needed any turbo settings, etc. I’ve only used the smart wash setting and my dishes are completely clean. My water heater temp is at 140, so that helps in cleaning. But, if the regular smart wash does this good, I wouldn’t doubt the turbo settings!! ??
I bought this appliance set, because I wanted the active finish. Fridge/dishwasher have it, others supposedly don’t, but I can’t tell! Love it all!

It's Pretty and Quiet - BUT THAT'S IT

|

I spent north of $1000 for this piece of junk! I've had it repaired 3 times in 3 years, spending an additional $450 total. The keypad is constantly going out. The drain system is really prone to clogging even when dishes are well rinsed before going into the washer. On at least 5 occasions in the past 3 years it has overflowed on to the kitchen floor. The plastic detergent door is constantly getting stuck closed and the standard cycle time is nearly 2 hours. I so wish I hadn't bought this thing. The wife and I are headed out the door this morning to buy as new washer, as this one has stopped working once again!
