Bought this 2 weeks ago, works great, average wash cycle 50 minutes, clothes are coming out very clean. Went from a LG & hands down no comparison I would given this 10 stars
Bought Kenmore Elite top loader 4.5 cu ft 6 years ago for nearly $900 total. Replacing now but probably should have replaced a long time ago. Could not find the exact model I bought but this appears close. Many times washer would stop and display OE signal...I never looked this up...just thought it was an unbalance signal...would redistribute clothes and washer would continue. Finally got around to looking up the code, it means something is wrong with the outflow. Removed the back of the washer and can see where something...can not tell what exactly is leaking and water is collecting in one of the plastic wells at bottom of machine...where a switch happens to be. Could be a hose or the pump and only appears to be leaking during discharge. The hoses do not appear to remove easily so difficult to tell. I've never liked this machine...takes forever to wash clothes...so not going to waste time or money having it repaired. Also, the area around the bleach port started to rust after a couple of years! Rust...really? Better off to buy a cheaper machine (with an agitator) and expect to replace it every 4 or 5 years. Sears should go back to their roots...provide dependable quality products. We, or at least I, do not need wi-fi enabled washing machines with 20 different useless wash cycles that are never used...but jack up the price.
The washer is efficient, quiet, and cleans a large load. Sears installers were excellent.
