This unit does its job as described: removing the chlorine taste & odor, as well as sediment from the whole homes water supply.

It seems another city is in the news every day with people complaining about unpleasant chlorine smells & tastes. This is an article from a city near me: http://www.burnsville.org/index.aspx?NID=917

This unit's installation is similar to that of a water softener.

If you are budget minded, this unit will save you money in refrigeration water filters, bottled water, cleaning supplies. We are very happy with the resulting water quality.

We like the little extras in the design: Energy Star rated power adapter, reassuring light to show us that it is doing its job.
