This fridge does what its supposed to do. I like the 'door in door" option, because most of what I use, I just keep in the outer door, and I dont have to let all the cold air out. The depth was perfect for my counters. I wasn't too concerned about the freezer storage space because I have a stand alone freezer in the garage. The only thing I don't like, and I knew this before I bought it, is the Ice/water selector. Most other refrigerators in this price range have multiple buttons to select, but on this one, you have to cycle through to get to which setting you want. Its a small thing, but just something I would have rather changed. Only had this for 3 months, but really have no complaints so far.
Brand new appliance....ice maker doesn't work. Extremely unhappy with customer service.
After 2 years the door is rusting below the ice and water dispenser. Extended warranty will not do anything about it because it is not under warranty. Can't get ahold of anyone at sears that can help. I think they should fix or replace.
The grab n go door is great!!!!
We love this fridge. We had a 29 cubic foot French door fridge before but the organization inside this smaller one makes it feel much bigger. Also the delivery people were very quick and professional.
We were so excited to purchase this refrigerator! We loved the idea of the Grab-N-Go door. We Purchased this fridge July, 2020. They delivered it to us in non working order! The ice maker does not make ice, the main fridge freezes your food, ruining anything you buy. We immediately called the store and they informed us they are not able to take it back. I need to call the helpline. Ok so we call the helpline.
After being on hold for 1.5 hrs I spoke to someone who was going to send a tech out. That tech no showed. I called back and they set up an urgent call. The tech came out a week later. They ordered a new ice maker and sensors. Three weeks later the parts arrive, and they are not correct. The sensor does not fit. They order more parts, they come back out weeks later still no working fridge. They make a total of TEN repair trips, with random parts still we don't have a working fridge.
Now here we are well into December and still NO WORKING FRIDGE. We are 6 in our family. We have handicapped children, and elderly women. We are not able to pour milk most of the time because it's frozen. Eggs? NO frozen. Fresh veggies? No frozen. We are forced to buy coolers and ice, just to keep healthy food for our kids. It's ruined birthdays, Thanksgiving and now unless Sears steps in it will ruin Christmas. We have already had to throw away over $1800.00 in food! We can't eat out due to the pandemic and we are a high risk family.
We in good faith purchased this fridge, and Sears has not acted in good faith to assist us. The run around treatment we have received has been down right shameful. We just wanted this unit repaired or a new replacement brought. NOTHING. WE HAVE BEEN LEFT IN THE COLD! No parent should ever have to go through what we have with this. We are now waiting in their "overflow" for their second "second opinion" (yes you read this right) and now visit 11!
