Love that you can see the clothes being washed with out an agitator in the machine!
Bought the washer and dryer but Sears keep sending me the wrong dryer. Requested specifically that the hinge door should be on the left side. They keep sending the wrong dryer and have repair crew try to change it. After 2 visit, they still cannot reverse it and broke the door... and now customer service sent me a new dryer with the same issue and want me to go through a 2nd cycle of trying to repair it. It is 2017 and soon 2018... if you cannot send the right product and instead try to have repairman fix it all the time... then might as well close shop. Don't think Sears as a company will survive 2 more years if they keep doing this non-sense. Ordered in nov..and now going to be Jan and still haven't had the right dryer. I would avoid the hassle and buy somewhere else.
I ordered the kenmoore elite bundle the dryer was not compatible I was on hold for 30 min 3 different times and disconnected they took my 1697.00 though. Now I can’t get a rep to get an exchange or my money back the delivery guy never brought the dryer upstairs he said it wasn’t 110v buyer beware the chats don’t know about the products sears. Com is selling I am livid and still haven’t talked to a person who can help me yet
We absolutely LOVE this dryer. So easy to use. It outperforms all the other dryers I ever used. Worth every cent.
I bought this unit with the different options available, but the unit was delivered not setup to the correct specifications. The two delivery and installers did not have the product training or knowledge to correct the units to specifications. The unit was requested to be returned.
I purchased this Kenmore Elite washer (31553) and dryer (61553) set. I am satisfied thus far with the washer but have had issues with the dryer. We needed the dryer door to swing from right to left which is the reverse of the standard product configuration. The first dryer (yes, I said first dryer) came with door reversed as requested; however, after opening and closing in hamper mode the dryer door wouldn't open in the swing mode. I finally got it to work after multiple attempts of opening and closing the dryer in hamper mode. In addition, there was a small bulge protruding through the front wall of the door. It looked like it was possibly caused by a screw from the inside of the door. There was no paint on the bulge, so I am assuming it occurred during the swap over of the door post-production and pre-delivery. I contacted Sears and they tried to bargain with me to get me to keep the dryer as-is. They offered me $100, then $150, and finally $200 to keep it. Since I was worried that I might experience additional problems from the door I had a replacement dryer sent (they said they could not replace just the door). The second dryer arrived today. The door was again reversed as requested. However, this one has problems also. The door has been scratched/rubbed such that the paint has been damaged along the bottom edge. This must have happened during the switchover. But that that’s not the worst of it. When the dryer door is opened in the swing mode a button that moves in and out catches on the front of the dryer. This button then presses on the dryer front pushing the metal in until the button retracts resulting in a loud pop. I am now trying to decide whether to have them send a new dryer with the door reversed, send a new dryer without the door reversed, or have them come take both the washer and dryer and refund my money. I’ll try to update this when everything gets resolved.
