I purchased this fridge about 4 months ago. Actually my wife liked this fridge at first and I fell in love with it when I saw it. When I read one and only review I got concerned, keeping the price of this fridge in mind. I started looking other fridges in the market, but finally decided to go for this fridge. I also purchased 3 years full service coverage for my my mental peace. I am happy that I decided to purchase this one. So far this fridge is working very well and I never encountered any problem. I am really enjoying its looks and functions. It is a spacios fridge with different compartments. I will recommend for any body.
Loved this fridge design at first, but questioning my preference for the Kenmore brand now. We have had this fridge for six months and have had to call for warranty repairs four times. This last time we have been told it will take about a week to get the part, in the mean time the fridge turns itself off about every 3 hours and needs to be unplugged and plugged back in. After losing a bunch of food we are just going to have to go without a fridge for a week....if we could actually use the fridge it would be the best fridge we have owned.
Had the fridge for just over a year. The warranty obviously runs out and now it decides to ding as if the electronics are going out in it. Called their support number and they couldn't understand what I was saying and had to repeat everything back to me. I'll change brands next time.
For this to be the high end model of a once reputable brand kind of explains the downfall of the once great SEARS. Like a beacon of light this refrigerator called upon me when we shopped for new appliances. What better place to go than your local SEARS. Knowledgeable staff good customer support all the greatness one would be looking for when spending a substantial amount of money, or that's the way it used to be when we grew up. fast forward 3 years. Little did I know within our glorious frigerator ticked an LG time bomb of a compressor. Two weeks prior to 4th of July 2018 my work horse died and stopped cooling. The events following killed me inside and destroyed my view of sears. It would take three months to get it back in working order. The LG compressor is absolute garbage. Give it a google it has class action lawsuits against it. The sears home repair team from start to finish was an absolute nightmare. First call to troubleshoot it I mention the Kenmoore connect feature that was a selling point on the unit obsolete no longer supported. Ok not a big deal we can get past that. Two weeks to get a tech out, two weeks to receive parts. Another week to get techs back out and have it repaired...Plot twist the parts that arrived also defective. Start from step one all over again. They also wanted me to pay another $99 to diagnose again. Now it is December of 2019 Christmas eve and low and behold the otter pops in the freezer are liquid and im now faced with two options- Repair or replace.....
Trying to schedule the appointment is something that needs to be worked on - we had to call five times and it took about an hour just to schedule the repair. The fifth time I had to beg the lady not to transfer us as the call was disconnected four before. Then - with our refrigerator and freezer not working - we had to wait fifteen days before someone could come out and look at it. We lost about $200 worth of food in those fifteen days. I have to say, though, the repair man was very knowledgeable and assessed the problem and made the repair in no time at all. The parts were covered under warranty but the charge for the repair was astronomical. I don't know anyone else who makes $400 an hour. This, as I understand, is because part of the fee goes to the repair man and then part of it goes to Sears. Wow, next time we will see about having someone locally fix it. We probably wouldn't have lost all that food and The repair fee would have been about half. Five stars goes to the knowledgeable repair guy and 1 star for Sears = 3 stars. However, it looks like this may get lowered as the fridge seems to be going out again...
*Definitely going out...

***And more than 24 hours later, no response. Wish I could change this to -0- stars.
Fridge is out, again, and no one can come out until the 12th of August. 13 days after it went out. Right after we replaced what we lost the first time it went out.
*** Repaired, again, and lasted less than three months. Shame on you, Sears, for selling junk at outrageous prices. We thought we were getting a Kenmore Elite but found out y'all sold us an LG with an Elite label.
Compressor went out after 2 1/2 years fought Sears for 4 months to get it repaired. I kept getting the run-round and pasted back and forth to the same people. I ended up purchasing the compressor only to find out the the connections does not match up and Sears says the compressor is the right one. Now after about $500 in service calls and parts , the fridge STILL DOES NOT WORK.
Extremely POOR Customer Service and support.
